Read a lot of reviews beforehand. Booked. Paid €290 for two nights and two people. Pretty crisp. The furnishings were careless, the room could not be completely darkened at night. There is no curtain in front of the large balcony window or door, so the curtain is always in front because the balcony is also shared with the neighboring room. And no, there is no partition there. There's a note in the room about environmental protection, okay, good. BUT it took 5-7 minutes for the water to reach a reasonably warm temperature and due to the low pressure of the water it also took more than 10 minutes to rinse your hair etc. So the goal was a bit missed. The breakfast was very good. Very diverse. The staff there was very nice. Registering for breakfast via QR code was easy if you registered early. The location is excellent. But it doesn't justify this price.

Very nice clean guesthouse. Rooms tidy and big enough.Bathroom okay, shower with shower curtain is not that ideal for showering, but okay for a few nights.Breakfast was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all, an ideal starting point to explore Rügen. We'd love to come back.

Room clean, shower curtain is no longer up to date and annoying when showering compared to a shower enclosure. Great central location on Rügen for island trips, staff always friendly, very good and varied (!) breakfast

We felt very comfortable in our spacious room with balcony and WiFi. The guesthouse is centrally but still very idyllic and ideal for exploring the island. The hosts are very friendly and everything is very well organized. The breakfast was very lovingly prepared and the selection was very large. The price-performance ratio is top!We can definitely recommend Pension Bergen.

Tried to book by phone at 8:40 a.m. They promised to call back, which mercifully happened at 11:40 a.m. No apology. We had already booked somewhere else. We can't judge the rest.

We had the garden room 3. The room is very small and the beds are on the corner. Unfortunately the room smells of mold. Only the window in the bathroom could be opened to ventilate. The door to the garden could not be tilted and had to be left open. At night it's not the best idea. To shower you had to let the hot water run forever until it warmed up and there is only a curtain in the shower. The WiFi could only be received in the garden. It was not possible in the room with the door closed. For breakfast you had to register the day before using the QR code. The breakfast was plentiful and good.

Way too expensive for the service. I only give 4 stars for breakfast. Rest was really not good for 135€/ night. No personal welcome, no cleaning in 4 days, no refrigerator or minibar available. No safe. Thin curtains, basic bathroom with shower curtain, little water pressure. Simple budget but highly overpriced. Shame. Bergen itself doesn't have much to offer.

Beautifully furnished rooms with conveniently equipped bathrooms (toilet/shower). Unfortunately, the rooms were not cleaned once during our 4-day stay and shower gel and soap were not refilled. Too bad! Bed covers are made of plastic so we sweated profusely. But it wasn't possible to leave the window open overnight because the guesthouse is located on two busy streets.Breakfast buffet was extensive with a good selection. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
