I would give it 2.5 stars, but there are no half stars on Google. We stayed in apartment 2 in Haus Trossenstek - rented through Gehrke Ferienwohnungen. We were 4 people, two of them children. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen area and a bathroom.Per:- Blinds - darken well- large balcony- Washing machine in the basement- clean- 5 minutes to the beachCons:- The beds are very hard - three of us weigh 55 kg or less, we felt like we were sleeping on asphalt.- In the "parents' bedroom" you can hear the creaking beds from the apartment above, and sometimes your own beds also creak.- In the "children's room" the WiFi is totally unstable, only late in the evening or at night you have reasonably stable reception - and no: it's not just children sleeping there.- There is no hot water in the shower at night. It's stupid with children because "accidents" always happen.- The apartment appears larger in the photos, the living, dining and sleeping area is very cramped for 4 people. The table is in the middle of the room, which takes away from the “lightness” in the room.- We don't like the decor, but that's a matter of taste and you've already seen it in the photos, so we knew what we were booking. You always think, "Oh, that'll work for a few days," but you never really felt comfortable. The colors don't harmonize and some of the furniture looks "rickety" (sideboard in the living room).- No Smart TV or TV not connected to the internet. Since we prefer Netflix, Prime etc. instead of TV, this was a shame.- No storage space for e-bikes.At the same time, my in-laws had an apartment in Cuxhaven-Duhnen. Bright and modernly furnished and tailored to the needs of a young family with two children - also in terms of internet use. Same price, by the way.Would we book holiday apartment 2 in Haus Trossenstek again? No. When we're on holiday we want to have a level of comfort similar to that at home (see list of cons above). This is now standard in many holiday apartments, but unfortunately not here.
