Our stay in the youth hostel was a complete success. The owners were friendly and always willing to respond to our questions and requests. The food was good, including the vegetarian options. Having your own group room was particularly important. A highlight were the seal and carriage rides, which we were able to book directly through the youth hostel. Overall recommended for groups.

Very friendly and open staff with a heart for young people. The food was always very rich and delicious. The rooms were well equipped with closets and small sinks. This facility is recommended for groups due to its proximity to the beach.Thank you!

Very bad I saw someone from the kitchen wiping the plates with his sweat and there is mold on the walls of the showers but the rooms are good but most of the doors are broken

We were in Sahlenburg with three classes in March. The house is beautifully located, near the beach. The house was clean and the food, especially breakfast, was excellent. There were always fresh rolls, coffee, tea, cocoa, water, sometimes eggs and cake, always cold cuts, cheese, vegetables, fruit, vegan pastes, hummus, jam, Nutella, peanut butter, muesli, etc.We also liked the offers such as mudflat hikes and experiential education. On the last evening we had a lovely barbecue evening with a varied offering. Overall, requests and special features were addressed. We would come back.

Super nice house, with modern bathrooms. Great staff, always friendly and a solution was found for every problem! The food was consistently tasty, hot and plentiful. Breakfast buffet as well - great selection, changing offerings. The proximity to the beach is also great. The only point of criticism is the chairs in the rooms above you, which you can hear. But a solution is already being worked on here too. Our young people felt very comfortable. We would come again! Thank you for the lovely stay.

We conducted training there. The rooms and the materials available such as flipcharts, screens, etc. were very good. The food was great, plenty of choice, also very suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The rooms are well furnished, the staff is very nice and accommodating. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back.

Very bad food. The rooms are very small, the large window couldn't be opened, which made it very difficult to ventilate. The toilet rooms seemed very unhygienic. Not recommendable.

A nice house with tidy rooms for e.g. B. School trips. Carer's room with private bathroom. You can quickly reach the beach, the Wadden Sea center or the climbing park on foot.The food is very tasty, freshly prepared on site, from regional products and varied with a salad buffet for a warm meal and dessert. All food requests are catered for by those with allergies.The area invites you to play and is spacious.

I was a guest there for three weeks with 45 children ... and I didn't actually have any really bad experiences ... but I probably have now the operators have changed... so of course the criteria have also changed...
