We have been going to Lower Bavaria for family reunions for several years and stay at the Rieger holiday farm for a week. We have never been disappointed in terms of quality or price. You quickly got used to the road, which is very busy for rural conditions.

We were able to rent an apartment at short notice. Thank you very much to the Rieger family for this.

Just outside a very beautiful village of 5000 inhabitants. With all the essential services for everyday shopping, if you need clothing, optician accessories and pharmacy. In addition to two supermarkets, Edeka, quite expensive, and Netto, a discount store but very good for food. Butcher shop ok backerai ok.The location is 15-20 minutes from the main thoroughfares. Larger destinations such as Munich or Tisbon are almost 2 hours away.Very beautiful Passau nearby. The apartment is very bright, spacious and equipped with a kitchen, perhaps not very equipped, but enough for the holidays.Excellent cleaning. We stayed 13 nights, and we had to close the linen change halfway through our stay. For a fee, but given the cost of the stay that's fine. 30 euros for three. There is a lot of greenery in the surrounding area and many possibilities for walking or cycling, given the numerous cycle paths. The managers are very helpful and friendly, they do everything to understand the various needs and we make do with English and German. The family butcher's shop offers excellent products such as sausages, frankfurters, cevapcic, pork and beef as well as pasta, liqueurs, farmyard eggs and excellent yoghurts. The possibility of grilling in the garden is excellent and if you want you can eat outside. The view of the valley where the cows graze is stupendous. It's beautiful to see the sunset and sunrise from the balcony.Excellent accommodation highly recommended.

The two of us spent a week there with a dog.We had a room with a terrace. The decor is more rustic, but everything was well maintained and very clean. The arrival and departure went without any problems and the hosts are extremely friendly. The farm dog came to visit our dog every morning. This was very nice to see and we will miss Apollo very much. All in all, it was a very nice stay and we would recommend the apartment immediately.

Went to the fire department museum today on Whit Monday 2024 after a short call. The owner Hans showed me around his fire department museum.Impressive collection of every conceivable fire brigade item from the past to the present day.Keep it up!Worth a trip!A collection worth seeing for all fire department enthusiasts. As a professional firefighter myself in the north of Germany, I will also send him some things. Thanks to Hans the owner of the museum.I can't say anything about the rooms because I only went there for the museum.

I'm a bit ambivalent about this review. The holiday apartments are located between two small towns directly on the cycle path but also directly on a state road. In front of the terraces and balconies there is a huge meadow with trees. Personally, the traffic noise bothered me. My husband, on the other hand, isn't so bad. The apartments are getting old but they're clean. We had an interior apartment so the bedroom didn't have a window to the outside but rather a hatch with a sliding window to the living room. The friendliness of the Rieger family cannot be beaten. The way the garden is laid out with a barbecue hut and various rest options (if car noise doesn't bother you) is also very nice. The option to book a rich and delicious breakfast is also great.
