Great hotel. Very clean, nicely furnished rooms. Super nice boss. We were able to move into our room immediately upon arrival. Very dog friendly. Parking spaces available directly at the house.The breakfast was exceptional.Everything your heart desires. Very large selection of fish, sausage, cheese.Scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon freshly prepared. Fresh rolls and much more. Terrific.

A really nice hotel, rooms newly renovated, small seating area, bathroom very well maintained, well cleaned.Small drawback: Wi-Fi is poor, TV channels are mostly not receivable or sorted strangely, this could be improved. But that was negligible, at least for us.Operator very friendly and attentive.Breakfast super good, large selection, fresh, from salmon, prosecco, grilled vegetables, fruit salad, pancakes…And all for a very reasonable price!

Nice hotel with breakfast.A little away from the beach and hustle and bustle.2km to the beach, 4km to Dunen,Shops and snacks nearby.Bicycle storage option with sockets for charging.Rooms are good, modern and clean.The breakfast buffet is well stocked.We were satisfied.

Were there for breakfast. Great buffet and everything very lovingly prepared. There were even warm beans and rice pudding. Where is there something like that?Nothing was missing.

Very nice apartment.Very very friendly owner.The rooms were very tidy and the beds were very comfortable.The breakfast buffet was very, very good.The fish cart in front of the hotel was also great.Yes, a fried fish roll costs €7.50 but they were very nice stream fish fillets and the tartar sauce and garlic cream were homemade.

I would like to give 2-3 stars more. We are really incredibly satisfied and have been coming to this hotel for years.Mr. Mertinkus is very friendly, the whole house is very clean and is constantly being modernized.The whole thing is also super dog-friendly.We couldn't imagine anything better and it's certainly not the last time we've been there.Keep it up!

Short vacation in Sahlenburg! Hotel Mertinkus booked! Our room, great! The only point of criticism is that the bathroom could be a little bigger! Breakfast really sensational, huge selection! Otherwise nice operator, everything was uncomplicated, everyone was friendly.

We had breakfast again today. As locals, we absolutely love it and will keep coming back.No wish remains unfulfilled. Large selection of cold cuts, cheese, fish, juices, scrambled eggs, beans, vegetables. Pancakes, rice pudding... And much more.Thanks to the boss
