Went there for dinner today. Starting with the unfriendly service, the food continued. Roast pork was so hard and dry that I had trouble getting the knife through the meat. The pork knuckle wasn't any better either. It was dried up on the outside. Never again

Big disappointment! Never again. Has nothing to do with a Bavarian inn. My partner's goulash soup was a disgrace, actually just fat. My goulash was also swimming in old fat. Salads were ok. Service unmotivated. Prices are sometimes very confident. Hardly any locals - that should have warned me.

The dishes are not bad, but it is certainly not a place to try typical traditional dishes. Service and welcome not too warm despite the manager being Italian. There's better, I wouldn't go back.

We were there on a Wednesday for “Schnitzel Day”.The Wiener Schnitzel was okay, but I would do the same at home. But for €12.90 you can't complain.The vegetarian schnitzel was simply breaded zucchini slices with croquettes on the side. Why there is an extra charge of €3.00 compared to the pork schnitzel is a mystery to me...I think advertising it as a “schnitzel day” is a bit weak!

Wednesday is schnitzel day, we had to find out nothing else on this day. Food quite okayWaiter, very special. You have to like it. We are not.You should stick to beer and not drink white wine. This is not recommended.

We ate at the restaurant with eight people. We had reserved a table. We wanted to sit outside but it was set up for inside. It was a problem for the service staff to implement this briefly... the service itself left a lot to be desired. The food came in stages. Each meal was carelessly prepared. The food was canteen level. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at the moment. There is still room for improvement.

Beautiful, old inn in the middle of Oberammergau!!!The food is really very good, but the excellent light beer from the Hasen-Brauerei Augsburg is even more impressive!!! 🍺 One or two of these, sitting in the sun on the terrace in front of the inn, and bliss is not far away 🙂The service staff are all super nice and don't make you wait long for the dishes and drinks you've been waiting for.The dining room offers plenty of seating, and there are also a few tables and chairs in front of the house where you can make yourself comfortable.Parking nearby isn't a problem either, but unfortunately some are only available for short-term parking.

We had dinner at Stern yesterday.First cream. The boss is very accommodating and absolutely friendly. By the way, the palinka was really tasty. As a surprise we received a cake with a candle because it was our 47th wedding anniversary.Absolutely recommended

Typical and very good food.Generous portions for a very affordable priceThe lady/boss is very friendly, the welcome is very good.I highly recommendPossibly some difficulties in understanding if you do not have basic German, but with telephone translators this should not be a problem.

I’d never been to this restaurant before but I felt obliged to leave a review due to the poor service we received from the gentleman (although I’d point out that the lady who gave us our cutlery was lovely).The gentleman was extremely rude and made us feel like we were just a nuisance. He was distracted and impatient with us. After ordering, we waited quite a long time for the food to arrive, around 30 mins. When mine arrived, it was a completely different dish to the one I’d ordered, with no explanation or chance to choose something else. He didn’t apologise, rather he just seemed irritated that I didn’t want what he’d picked for me. He took the dish away but didn’t wait for me to choose something else. I had to go up to the counter to gain his attention, where again he was rude and very short with me.He may have been having a bad day, however there is no excuse for his dreadful customer service. I wouldn’t recommend eating here, based on our experience today.
