In short, savings are made wherever possible.This was best seen on the floor, which was probably laid by itself.The cleanliness and furnishings of the rooms are overall okay. Expectations shouldn't be too high.1/5 stars for sleeping comfortIt has already been criticized several times but nothing will change.The clairaudience or the audacity to trample around at 5:30 in the morning so that it gives the impression that they are about to come through the roof is unbearable and probably won't change.Apparently one of the rooms on the first floor has the owner herself, which only makes matters worse...

I stayed here for four nights on business. What was positive was that the room (I had room 1) was nicely decorated. I had plenty of space and a desk, which I found very good. The woman at the reception was very nice. A hairdryer would have been available and you got a parking badge for free parking.However, every room is different. Some course participants had a worse room. I didn't feel particularly well myself, but it was bearable for a few days. After a closer look, the room was a bit rancid in some places. I found hair in the bed, one was even caught in the blanket. The bed linen and towels are quite old. What I also found strange is that the heater in the room was behind a wall under the desk, so you couldn't easily change the temperature. The woman at reception is not always approachable either. She is only on site on Sunday and Monday, but not all day.Personally, I would never book this hotel.

I've never been to such a bad "hotel" in my life. The internet is underground, probably the cheapest line. The room is OK, but offers no storage space. The bathroom is made for little people. There is no possibility to prepare food here and the rooms are only cleaned once a week. Every corner is cut here to make your stay as unpleasant as possible.

We spent one night in this hotel while traveling through. We wouldn't have wanted to stay in the expost analysis any longer.The positive thing about this hotel is that it is very centrally located, check-in was smooth and friendly. All public spaces available in the city center serve as parking spaces. You will receive a parking ticket which will be left in your car.There is a nice terrace, but no cushions have been laid out for the furniture.The rooms were functionally furnished, but like the whole house, they were put together rather simply. It looks like furniture from a discount store.The rooms are very noisy but clean throughout.Since Corona meant that breakfast was not buffet style, there was an edition. However, the friendliness here was second to none. It reminded me a lot of my time in the military. As far as quality is concerned, it was okay but rather mediocre for Bavarian standards.It was OK for one night. Not for longer, however.Unfortunately, the price performance at a good 90 euros for two people was not proportionate.The hotel is not suitable for people with disabilities.

Price performance absolutely great. Rooms are clean. Service staff is friendly and always helpful. The location is great... The hotel is very centrally located. Everything in Oberammergau is within walking distance. There is an exemption for cars to park anywhere in the city center. Breakfast buffet is great. Gladly again. We'll be back

We were here for a short vacation for two days. We just can't understand all the positive reviews. The first impression of the hotel when we arrived was that it wasn't inviting. The smell in the hallway was musty, the rooms are carelessly designed and furnished with the cheapest furniture. The walls and doors are stained and painted over, it looks really terrible. There is an old CD stand in the bathroom as a cosmetic shelf. The worst thing, however, were the extremely soft mattresses (you lay on the slatted frame) and the really extreme lack of hearing. When I asked about the mattress, I was told that I should put a blanket under me, but what that would do is a mystery to us. You could hear every noise from the hallway and the other rooms, which made it impossible to get a restful sleep. There were only light curtains on the windows, which made it impossible to darken the room. There are small steps on all the doors and the stairs to the rooms are so steep that you have to be careful not to trip. The breakfast was okay so far. For the price we would definitely have expected something different, we wouldn't have wanted to spend another night here.
