After we were here once with a group of cyclists a few years ago, this time we went to the guesthouse with the whole extended family. The rooms are simply furnished and do not offer much comfort, but this is more than compensated for by the friendliness of the innkeepers. The property is fenced in, so that not only the house and farm dogs, but also dogs brought along can have a lot of fun.The dining room is primarily intended for guests' first-class breakfast and dinner. We were also able to use the spacious winter garden for the family at any time.Overall, it was a great week for us here. The price-performance ratio is great and we felt very comfortable. Thank you again, we'll be happy to come back.

Straupitz cyclists' paradise in the Spreewald.We were looking for a central cyclist's accommodation in the Spreewald for a long time, the “Pension Winzer” in Straupitz is recommended, in the heart of the Spreewald, from here you can go on day trips in all directions. Even the town of Straupitz is worth a trip, museum, shingle church, post mill. Bike paths are great.Very nice hosts, large lounge, beer garden, rooms are normally equipped with a shower, great breakfast, there is also a barbecue area. A great value for money

This is my third time here. The pension is an annual must for me. It's very familiar and clean here. The Winzer family is always there to offer advice. Despite the years I've been coming here, there is always something new to see.

Many thanks to the Winzer couple. Our group (18 people and a dog) were here as guests over Pentecost 2024. We were treated to a good breakfast buffet starting at 8:00 a.m. The grill buffet in the evening was awesome. We were treated to different types of meat and various delicious salads. Even something great was conjured up for our vegetarian. The rooms were functional and clean. The guesthouse is simple but great for groups who want to explore the Spreewald. If you're expecting a posh hostel, you've come to the wrong place. What is more important is the warmth with which we were welcomed and pampered here. The property has a beautiful garden with a small pond and bird aviaries. We can highly recommend this guesthouse and want to come back at Pentecost 2025. We wish the Winzer couple all the best and health.

The bungalow was so clean. However, the mattresses were worn out and I felt every single spring when lying on it, which was uncomfortable. The Winzer family is nice and friendly.

The guesthouse is long past its best. The rooms do not meet any comparable standard. Ancient mattresses in which the springs can clearly be felt. Cleanliness doesn't seem to be a high priority. A separate room for our family was provided. The tablecloth had at least 2 parties behind it. We then covered ourselves. Just dirt all over the floor. The breakfast buffet is very sausage-heavy. We do not recommend a stay. All positive reviews are probably from people who have been there with us and haven't gone anywhere else in the past 30 years.

The location was very nice. From there you could easily reach everything. The room leaves a lot to be desired, comfortable is something else for us. There is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, as we are used to something different. Breakfast was rich but unfortunately no fresh rolls for the last two days. The couple was very nice.

We have been going to the Winzer family at least twice for years and love it. The peace and quiet is nice, the guesthouse is very central and everyone is super nice and helpful... the breakfast is really enough for everyone.... if you like, you can also get a glass of wine🍷 or a freshly tapped beer in the evening, Here too, the prices are more than just fair... the price-performance ratio for the accommodation is unbeatable and quite fair... we continue to come to you every year as often as we can and at some point even without our son 😉

We were very satisfied in the 7 days we were there. Breakfast was very good and there was something for everyone.The dinner we ordered was also really excellent 👍.Very nice warm people.Our children quickly warmed to the farm dog, Cora, and our big one missed her.We will definitely come back again.👍

Hello everyone :-) OK, hospitality is friendly but when I see the property I have to say that for a family business it is very sad when you see such a dilapidated property. It is the worst thing I have seen in the Spreewald so far....no thanks never again :-( sad for the Spreewald and the room, well, cupboard door broken, mattress lying through ;.( we are very disappointed that the son is too lazy to do something with his parents, it was much nicer he should be ashamed of himself .... than Successor :-( We will never come back

We stayed in the guesthouse with 2 adults, 2 children and a small dog.We were able to park right on the street. We were warmly welcomed.Our room 45 was large enough with a bathroom. We had plenty of storage space. We liked that very much. Some of the furniture mix from several decades was already long past its best, but that was still ok and didn't bother us much.The water was warm and there was enough pressure, which is often a problem. It was generally very quiet and you only saw good visitors at breakfast or at the cars.For me, breakfast was a bit "heavy" because I don't like sausage in the morning. Others liked exactly that.The price is of course gigantic.I still have a “but”. There were some corners that weren't so clean (a lot of junk or broken things in the garden/yard - I'm not talking about antique-style decorations) and, for example, the coffee pot needed a basic cleaning (can be cleaned with baking powder). The farm dog Cora was very friendly during the day and alert at night.I think “before” everything was great here. The “basic idea” is really nice. The Winzers work day and night but could perhaps use a little support.

We were there with 4 people for 5 nights, were warmly welcomed and well looked after. The breakfast is sufficient and made from regional ingredients. The rooms are cozy, clean and all have TVs. We felt very comfortable.
