Super nice innkeeper couple who served us good food with a lot of heart and in a very friendly manner - even though we were already quite late. We were originally skeptical due to some bad reviews, but learned that the restaurant has recently been under new management. We felt absolutely welcome, were very satisfied and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Keep it upYou would have to ask in advance in cash or EC - it was booked in cash straight away and I had to pay in cash - luckily I had cash with me - I am more of an EC card payer -

The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast was rich, but perhaps you shouldn't leave the cups you bought on the buffet. There were baked rolls that tasted good. However, some of them looked like they were from the day before.Unfortunately, the owner quickly seems overwhelmed. I think the guesthouse is her heart, but she needs help to enjoy it again and become the hostess she probably once was.IMPORTANT! CASH PAYMENT ONLY!!!

We spent a very nice and quiet New Year's Eve weekend and everything was as we wanted it to be. We were warmly welcomed and the breakfast was also very tasty. The rooms are clean, tidy and contain everything you need. The only thing we were missing in the apartment was a shower, as there is only a bathtub. Otherwise everything was perfect and definitely recommended!

1 week holiday in the Spreewald in a quiet guesthouse. In the morning there was a rich breakfast. And in the evening there were seats at the koi pond or the playground to linger as long as the temperatures allowed 😀 Our rooms were nicely furnished, some with a small anteroom and sitting area. A hairdryer could possibly be offered in the bathroom.We would like to thank Ms. Rumpel, who made it possible for us to have a pleasant and relaxing vacation. We would be happy to come to you again.

An idyllic bed & breakfast in the Spreewald.Everything is clean and well maintained.Only the greeting when checking in was a bit rude and forceful.The breakfast was varied and very good.Boat rental is directly opposite.There are plenty of restaurants in the village and surrounding area.

Accommodation is fine for a week trip. In terms of price it's okay. The location is wonderful.Unfortunately the rooms are not that modern. All areas were clean.The breakfast was manageable. Not a big selection. Rather carelessly done.I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

In August 2022 we were guests for two nights with our one-year-old son. The rooms were very clean, newly renovated and we felt comfortable. The garden was beautiful and could be used by the guests. The sandpit and play equipment were particularly great if you were there with children. Despite other guests, it was very quiet and you could relax well.The breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed.Unfortunately, there is a lack of restaurants in the town, so dinner has to be eaten elsewhere.Overall, a very nice stay that we would have liked to have extended. We can only recommend Bordmann's Scheune.
