The two of us were guests at the Zirbelhotel with the Müller family. We slept in “Grandma’s bedroom”. A very great room with a balcony (large windows), great bathroom - walk-in shower, very comfortable beds... the breakfast was always a highlight... Leaves nothing to be desired...We also used the infrared room...highly recommended after a long day of hiking - relaxation...You can notice the attention to detail throughout the house. The scent of pine wood is in the air throughout the house and is completely pleasant.The Müller family are very, very nice hosts, are available to help with any questions, give tips, have nice conversations, etc. We felt very comfortable.The location of the hotel makes hiking activities and sights easy to reach.Thank you very much for allowing us to be your guests. ☺️

I have visited Oberammergau many times and ZirbelHotel is the BEST hotel in town. The owner is so nice as well and she personally makes you breakfast every morning. The property is brand new and includes all your fancy amenities, even hearted floors and has 4x charging stations for electric cars. The owner lives off site, so you feel as if you have the hotel to yourself but the owner is always available if you need her. I HIGHLY recommend you stay here, you won't regret it!

A truly relaxing holiday in a wonderful atmosphere.There was a delicious breakfast every morning, which was always fresh and individually prepared.The “OMA” room is simply beautifully furnished, the bed is super comfortable and we had a lot of space for a guest room. Everything was very neat and clean!Very nice and helpful hosts. Gladly again

We stayed here for about a full week and I enjoyed every moment here. The location was very close to other markets, trails, the ski lift, and great restaurants. Diane was a great hostess and the breakfast she prepared every morning was the cherry on top. Her thoughtfulness, remembering the little things like how we liked our eggs, or had yogurt with our morning meals, meant a lot.The room we stayed in had a patio, in which i sat outside staring at the beautiful scenery. The decor and space was perfect for 2 people and too much luggage.Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

I stayed in this beautiful and extraordinary hotel for a week. The owners are very friendly and treat their guests in a family-like manner. The rooms are very large and shine with a special look.The parking spaces directly at the hotel are also positive.I would like to thank you for the experience and would be happy to come back.

The 'Zirbelhotel haus diane' is extremely cozy and lovingly furnished.The scent of pine makes you breathe well and sleep particularly well.The rooms are very spacious and alpine modern.The bathroom is also beautiful with a walk-in rain shower and nice shampoos.All kinds of storage space, a refrigerator in the room for a snack and a large balcony complete the stylish room.The freshly prepared breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and if so, everything can be arranged upon request; a very sustainable concept.The shared lounge is very chilled out and you can relax there.The Müller family is very friendly and informs the guests very well about the passion plays. The hotel is in a quiet location and the city center is easy to reach on foot.Public transport and supermarkets are nearby.Parking space in front of the door is included.From the window you have a nice view of the surrounding mountains, which are easy to hike.The location of the hotel is ideal for excursions into the region (e.g. Linderhof Castle, Zugspitze, Plansee, etc.).We would love to come back (outside of the Passion Play) and look forward to getting to know the sauna area.Unfortunately there was no time for that with only two overnight stays and a whole day in the Passion Theater.Overall, an exceptionally beautiful hotel with a high feel-good factor!

It's just great here. Great large room, modern bathroom with walk-in shower.Our room had a huge wraparound balcony.Have never stayed in such a beautiful guesthouse. Only recommended.Breakfast is freshly prepared.

We stayed at the Zirbelhotel for 2 nights and felt incredibly comfortable. Everything is very familiar and cozy, the rooms are in the foothills of the Alps! The spa area is also really nice after a long day of skiing. The hostess welcomed us warmly and prepared breakfast according to our wishes. We will definitely come back.

One of the best hotels in Oberammergau and the surrounding area, run by a lovely family who are very nice and helpful. Diane and Albert are excellent hosts. The rooms are beautifully and lovingly furnished and everything is sustainable and made from different woods. Breakfast is highly recommended.

Today we returned from vacation, it was probably the most amazing week we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. A wonderful accommodation, thought out down to the smallest detail, beautifully designed, the pine wood smells wonderful. Mrs. Müller's hospitality and service was absolutely great, and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely come back, relaxation is inevitable here.
