Very cozy little hotel. Room with a balcony and mountain views. Quiet location. Has everything you need. Breakfast is all there, various sausages and cheese, eggs, fruit, juices, fully automatic coffee machine. Staff and boss very friendly and helpful. To the town center and bars about 10 minutes. We'll definitely come back.

This is a nice guest house, comfortable and cosy with a homely feel to it. The room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was as good as any we had in Germany, good variety and a bright and welcoming room. The guest house is close walking distance to the centre of town, restaurants and shops. There are two supermarkets close by. Free parking was good and the owners were friendly and helpful and the older Herr Huber was a delightful man.

An aging house with a lot of potential for renovation.The price-performance ratio is an absolute joke.The service cannot be evaluated in more detail because it is NOT available.In our opinion, the favorable location of the house is shamelessly exploited here, for example for New Year's jumps in Partenkirchen or the Passion Play in Oberammergau.The “hotel” is centrally located in Oberammergau. You can explore everything in town on foot.Our room (No. 17) was old and shabby. The furniture probably saw its best time in the 70's.The carpet in the room was probably as old as the rest of the furniture. Furthermore, it was totally dirty and stained.There has definitely been smoking in the room in the past, which you can immediately smell when you open the room door.In general, I would say that this room smells awful. Like something made from heating oil, cigarette smoke and rotten carpeting.In the toilet, shower and washbasin department you are in “Lilliput”. There is hardly any space for the toiletries you brought with you.The service in the house was simply a disgrace because it was non-existent!!We have never experienced anything as loveless as here.The room cleaning is a complete disaster.How can it be that after the room has been (presumably) cleaned, the room door is left wide open for everyone by the staff, so that, purely theoretically, everyone could have access to our personal belongings in the room??When asked about this incident, the staff at the reception responded with ignorance and said "that can't be right".Luckily we only booked breakfast at the hotel. This was really just in the “0815” range.A hotel lady preferred to help herself to the bakery goods that were delivered in the morning, for example by eating the pretzels herself.They also liked to draw a coffee from the fully automatic machine in front of the guests.If you offer breakfast from 7:00 a.m., you should stick to this time and not start setting up the buffet at around 7:45 a.m. with sleepy eyes and a bobble hat on your head.Here too, no excuse for the late arrival on the part of the two ladies.
