We wanted to stop at the inn for lunch. Since we were there a full 5 minutes before opening, I asked the waitress sitting outside on the terrace if we could sit down. All I received was a very unfriendly “yes” and a dirty look. Ok, we were ahead of time, but honestly, do you have to react like that? Apparently they didn't need our money and we left again. So I can't estimate the rest.

For my 80th birthday I had ordered 12 seats for lunch followed by a boat trip. The table that was reserved for us was not set and only 10 people could fit there. When I asked, I was told in passing that if it was too narrow, two people would have to sit at another table. I have never experienced anything so unloving and unfriendly. The food was ok, but the portions were very small. Luckily it was very warm that day, so most of the guests weren't very hungry. The boat trip was also disappointing. The ferryman couldn't tell anything about the country or its people and he only answered questions with two or three words. Price-performance is inadequate. The only bright spot - the sun was shining. It's a shame that we were so disappointed on a day that was supposed to be special.

We took a short trip (3 nights) to Erlkönig. And we were totally thrilled. Breakfast was eaten right next to the river on the terrace. We also got great tips for our bike tour. It was so idyllic there. The apartments are very modern and adequately equipped. We didn't miss anything. The owner was also very friendly. We can highly recommend it!!!

In the restaurant garden you sit directly on the small canal. Quiet, relaxing location. The staff is outstanding. Food with regional dishes (Grützwurst, potatoes-quark-linseed oil, asparagus in season) but also Italian cuisine is offered. It's worth booking a table in advance.

An inn with so much charm and attention to detail. As soon as you see the greenery in front of the door you feel very welcome. A tiled stove crackles in the cozy, rustic guest room. To match, the chairs are covered with warm fur. Everything seems consistent. There is no shortage of drinks and food choices. Everything is prepared fresh and with dedication. Here you can see and taste that the chef still enjoys cooking. Highly recommended, especially now in winter a great setting right on the Spree.

We were here with the family for Christmas dinner. About 20 people ate á la carte and to say it straight away: everyone enjoyed the food very much. Whether fish, beef or pasta dishes. Everyone was thrilled with the taste and the look of the plates was also worth seeing.The ambience is more in keeping with the tradition of the old inn and is a bit more rustic.The service was great and it was a completely successful family meal.

Today we had lunch with the in-laws at the inn. The first impression is that the guest room is simply but lovingly designed. The service was very quick and friendly. We were also impressed by the food on offer. The food we ordered came in such a way that you can be sure it was all freshly prepared. We enjoyed it very much, the portions were generous and tasty. Highly recommend!

We ate at the inn with two children and two adults. That was great! It went very quickly and tasted really good. The children were given something to paint and were able to keep themselves busy during the short waiting time. The location directly on the Spree is great. The children's menu was great, as was the food for the adults (goulash; farmer's breakfast). Many thanks to Katja, the children really enjoyed it with you!

Today we spent our lunch break in the Erlkönig while paddling. Our impressions: beautiful location on the river, very friendly service, delicious food. The pikeperch with chanterelles in particular was a poem. Erlkönig - always happy.

Room with garden view with complete kitchen and bathroom, mosquito net in front of the windows, except in the kitchen; Unfortunately, sun protection is missing -> would have been very appropriate in the attic; Sufficient kitchen with dishwasher, 2-burner stove, pre-cooled refrigerator; please remember, only salt and pepper are already there; maybe have a light installed above the sink; Room very clean, sitting in bed not possible as sloping ceiling is unfavorable; Pillow not suitable for sleeping; Bed linen and towels provided; WiFi weak but possible;Unfortunately it wasn't possible to rest: the room door doesn't close properly; You can hear the entire room surroundings, very disturbing; every morning shortly after 7!!!! At the clock, cars drive out of the yard, the engine runs when the gate is opened; In the afternoon the lawn was mowed, lasting over 2.5 hours, directly in front of the garden view rooms!!! Incredible!The boss wasn't finished with the room when she arrived on time; although check out is at 10 a.m. and check in is only at 3 p.m.; Boss took some getting used to, very instructive and decisive, constantly talking loudly, demanded payment immediately upon arrival!You also don't get any helpful information from the bossRestaurant: very tasty cuisine!!! Service was quick and friendly despite many occupied tables - highly recommended eating there!It's a shame it's not open that longWonderfully relaxing area
