Very nice farm. Very nice hosts. Great holiday apartment. Lots of animals and lots to play for children. There is also a bread roll service. There are many hiking trails from the apartment. The outdoor swimming pool is within walking distance. There is also a stream nearby where you can walk in with your feet. The hosts always have lots of tips for excursions. There are many things you can do nearby from Ried. Lake Kochel is 4 km away.

It's been a few years, but we have fond memories of our vacation with our 3 children on the Zerluth family's farm!The holiday apartment was very nice and clean, the yard was idyllic and quiet and we found the atmosphere to be very relaxed.I have rarely recovered so well on holiday!In addition, the location of the farm is perfect for many activities.

From a purely formal point of view, it's a beautiful courtyard with lots of play options for the children, very well maintained and clean and the holiday apartments are well equipped for families with small children. Nothing is missing here.The children enjoyed being with the animals, taking part in the pony rides included in the price, and riding in the vehicles.Unfortunately, the part of the story that made our stay a little less relaxed begins here. We hadn't yet arrived at the farm when we could already feel the farmer's wife's directive tone on the phone. The tour of the farm was characterized by instructions and prohibitions, and the very detailed information folder made it clear what you were NOT allowed to do and which violations would be charged.The children's play on the farm grounds was characterized by warnings from us about what they were not allowed to do in order to protect them (and us) from warnings from the hosts (and it still didn't work).Has the family had such bad experiences in the past that they feel compelled to greet guests with such a set of rules that sets the tone of suspecting the vacationer in advance?As a vacationer, I want to be welcomed and feel comfortable. For me, this also includes the willingness of the host family to be able to tolerate a minimum of habits that are different from their own.It goes without saying that I adhere to certain rules and handle the items entrusted to me with care. Here I don't expect the hosts to point the finger in advance or to be insulted if something goes wrong, but rather a friendly hint.Finally, I can say that we had a lovely holiday with “G’schmäckle” and unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

Actually a very nice farm with a nice apartment and lots of offers. Our children enjoyed using the offers (vehicles, horses, rabbits, trampoline) with the other holiday children and were often invited by the farmer to go with them to see the animals. The surrounding area is also beautiful, lots of great things, close to the mountains and easy to reach by public transport.Unfortunately, we found the general mood to be very dominated by regulations. We are aware that certain rules are necessary, but here they simply have the upper hand (even compared to other farms we have been to).As a “welcome” we read the welcome booklet, which, confusingly, consisted of several A4 pages of rules.Examples:- The farmer's wife regularly comes to the apartments (unannounced and only noticed by chance) to water the flowers. If she notices that something is dirty, she will carry out an interim cleaning for a fee (€25/hour). Dirt includes, among other things, crumbs on the floor and couch, dust mice, unwashed dishes, calcified shower. (understandable in principle, but I should be able to decide for myself when to remove crumbs)- Garden grill can be used. However, please do not allow any smoke to form.- Feeding rules for the animals are provided with a copy of a decision from the Higher Regional Court, which indicates the penalties for non-compliance.Unfortunately, this attitude was also felt again and again in contact with the farmer's wife; both the children and us.The farmer's wife should perhaps think again about whether the basic setting can be worked on - you always had the feeling that you had to make sure that the children and we didn't do anything wrong. It could have been so beautiful.We guests are there to escape from everyday life. It should go without saying that everything should be handled with care. There are always black sheep and even the “rule book” doesn’t stop them.And be careful: don’t take any knives or forks home with you. They are counted when they are picked up ;-)

We stayed at this beautiful farm for 4 days in November! My little daughter was in 7th horse heaven, she was allowed to clean, ride and pet. The farm is simply great, the rooms are very clean and cozy and warm. We have rarely felt so comfortable anywhere! The entire family is incredibly nice and we can smell everyone watching and asking lots of questions. It certainly wasn't our last vacation there. We felt very comfortable here. The Zerluth family welcomes you in a very friendly manner and your stay is characterized by an uncomplicated, familiar atmosphere. The holiday apartment is cozy and, above all, sparkling clean, everything you need is there. Our children didn't want to leave the farm!

Our TOP 1 holiday destination for over 10 years! And we will keep coming back. The Zerluth family are very warm hosts, and the farm and the surrounding area are a dream! Pure relaxation, apartments clean and well furnished.
