As a speaker, I have already been able to attend a number of weddings in the old bakery in Burg and I am always thrilled by the ambience, the warm operators and the incredibly great surroundings. Dream wedding with an all-round carefree packageAt the beginning of September 2022 we celebrated our wedding with a civil ceremony in the Altes Backhaus - and it was an absolute dream. We not only have our great service providers (see below) to thank for this, but also Christian Libutzki and his hard-working team. Christian is very warm and an absolute event professional. Whether it's advice on the process, setting up the seating in the room or somewhere on the huge grounds for the wedding, coordination of all service providers on the big day or a wedding angel in the background: He reliably takes care of everything and supports the stressed bride and groom both during the planning period and on Wedding day - incredibly relieving. Behind the scenes, his team also ensures that your stay is comfortable and runs smoothly. We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for this. With Christian and his team at your side, you can really relax about the wedding - especially if, like us, you live further away and have to organize it from a distance. Thanks to you, dear ones, it was an unforgettable event for us and our guests. You are great, please keep it up!Briefly about the fantastic location, which, in addition to weddings, also offers a beautiful backdrop for many other events (birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions and vacations, etc.): This beautiful spot on earth impresses with lots of nature, modern apartments in beautiful houses, and a technically well-equipped Event room, a large terrace with huge umbrellas and heaters, many cozy corners on the premises and a large selection of special outdoor locations for civil weddings. Altes Backhaus means: You get out of the car and immediately feel comfortable and relaxed, it's like being on vacation. We had the entire area to ourselves. It couldn't have been nicer for us.Another tip for other brides and grooms: arrive earlier and leave later. We got married on a Wednesday, arrived on Monday and started our honeymoon on Friday. It was great because we were able to spend more time with our guests, get in the mood for the wedding together on site and then end it in peace and comfort.We and our guests are thrilled with the Altes Backhaus, everyone felt very comfortable. Had a nice weekend.

We have a week inHoliday home Lutki spent. It was wonderful. The house has a smart home and is modern and lovingly furnished. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor. Bedding with bed linen and enough towels are prepared. In the lower area of ​​the house there is a living room, kitchen with dining area and another bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need for a stay (oven, toaster, stove, dishwasher, coffee machine (filter), enough cutlery and crockery, all high-quality kitchen manufacturers). We didn't miss anything. From the living room you can go to the terrace. Here you have a great view of nature. There are two loungers in front of the house where you can relax. There is enough space to play on the area. You can rent canoes directly from the administration (€25 per day). There is an entrance to the Spree across the street from the area. You can start paddling straight away. Otherwise you can also grill on the area. There are 3 Weber grills available. If necessary, you can also wash and dry on site. In the nearby town of Burg there are supermarkets, ice cream parlors, bakeries, and a small harbor where you can also go on boat trips or have a delicious meal. All in all it was a great relaxing holiday. Kathrin, who always cleans everything beautifully, does a really great job! Everything was always clean! Christian, the boss on the site, is also very nice and was always approachable, no matter what was going on or what questions were still unanswered.We have a Tesla and were even able to “refuel” on site at a wallbox. This costs €10 per day including fuel money.

Great location. We were allowed to be guests here with friends at their wedding.We were pampered down to the last detail by a local caterer. The photographer Andy and the cake fairy Franzi did the best.It was one of the most beautiful events we were able to attend, many thanks to Anne and Tobi. You chose a great one, including your great friends.

Beautiful facility. Lots of space for outdoor games. Superbly furnished apartments. Canoes for rent. Located right on the Spree, you can start straight away.

We didn't have an overnight stay, we were cyclists and just took a break. It was very crowded and you needed a lot of patience to be able to eat something. But everything was very tasty and the staff was also in a good mood

We spent our best day in the bakery at the weekend. Our wedding. When we saw the location for the first time we knew we were getting married there. A really beautiful location with lots of extras. Great rooms, super nice facility and everything clean and well maintained. Thank you.
