I stayed in this hotel as a bicycle rider. The single room was simple but had everything I needed. I was kindly allowed to leave my e-bike in the hall overnight. Breakfast was sufficient and I was able to strengthen myself for my next bike tour. Price was definitely reasonable. I was just unlucky that the restaurant was closed for company holidays. I was already looking forward to it. But I also knew it days in advance because it was on the internet so I was able to reschedule my meal. I would have just liked to eat in the restaurant because the menu sounded good. Overall, I was very satisfied and would recommend the hotel for people traveling through or staying for 2 to 3 days.

Very clean inn. Very nice staff. Good prices. Very tasty food and good prices. Good portions of the dishes. Simple rooms, large and appropriate for the price! Highly recommended!

Food was ok, service not. Unfriendly reception - although the guest room and the next room were almost empty apart from a small group and a reserved table, it was a problem to get a table for 2 people.Order drinks and food were ok.When the food was delivered, the sauce was accidentally spread across the table - this can happen and is not a problem for us. The table and tablecloth were cleaned, the gravy boat was wiped down...For a second drink we had to use gestures and words to summon the manager who was walking around empty.When paying, we heard neither a 'thank you' nor a 'have a nice evening', despite a generous tip.We are very sorry - despite the two very friendly 'auxiliary service staff' (thanks for that) we will not be coming back.We are not used to such poor service from the manager and we don't want to endure it anymore. We won't come to dinner anymore.

We were a birthday party and were very well looked after.Food was very good

During the weekend we had a family room, a room with a double bed, next door with an open passage a double couch bed and a passage to the bathroom with shower.We found the mix of history and modernity very appealing. House since 1700... So it creaks sometimes...Little to nothing could be heard from the street.Breakfast was good, requests were taken into account and service was very accommodating. Gladly booked again and again

We have been coming here to eat for many years when we hike in the Welzheim Forest. I struggled for a long time whether I should give this review or not.Unfortunately, I have to say that their quality has deteriorated greatly in recent years. There are a lot of ready-made products on the menu, a lot of it is just frozen and thawed. The price is still very cheap, but the taste is now a disaster. If we want to eat ready-made products, we can also order something from the ice cream man and don't have to go to a restaurant. It is also very unpleasant that the waiter goes out to smoke during his working hours and serves guests at the table with the smell of smoke.Every time we were there the quality got a little worse.It's a shame, it was really great with you.Unfortunately, we couldn't share this personally because the waiter was in such a rush that he couldn't or didn't want to listen to us.In the future, we will visit another location after the Sunday hike and hope you will take this review as an incentive to bring your quality back up to scratch.Greetings from the Remstal
