We ate at this restaurant. The food was great, absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the chef came forward to answer a question. However, the service could improve somewhat. The candle wasn't lit and the waiter wanted to clear it even though one of us was still eating. We also asked 3 times whether everything was OK, but 1 time would have been enough. This bothered us slightly. The service was friendly, but we didn't have a smile on our faces. That could be worked on. Nevertheless, we were very full and satisfied.

I will only review the restaurant:Typical German location, and quite good service, price a little high compared to the average of similar places, quality of the food quite good.We paid €50 which was honestly a bit high for what we ordered but all in all we ate well.

This is the second time I have visited the restaurant because I was so impressed the first time. On my second visit, which was on schnitzel day, I was no longer so enthusiastic. The schnitzel tasted different and to my horror my dessert waffle with ice cream came out burnt and inedible. The waffle was deducted from the bill, but that doesn't have to be the case.I would prefer not to serve products that are baked too dark to customers.

Very tasty, everything fresh and really good quality. The potato salad was really good, but we were also completely impressed by the grill plate, Viennese schnitzel, Jägerschnitzel and the children's schnitzel. Very good service, we would like to come back.

The kitchen of my childhood...The Maultaschen in an excellent broth and the Schnitzel with very good fries.I really appreciated the service.I look forward to returning there on my next trip.

A house with a very long tradition that continues to be run to a very high level under the current management. I go regularly with my partner for a cozy meal and drink. I can only warmly recommend the German cuisine with Croatian influences. The price-performance ratio is spot on. The ambience reflects traditional German cuisine as you imagine it, which is also reflected in the hospitality. The top location in the heart of Schorndorf. Highly recommended.....

There were five of us there and we had dinner. Twice salmon, once Maultaschen as well as grilled plates and cevapcici. Everything with good matching side dishes. The food was freshly prepared and plentiful. There was ice cream for dessert.
