It is a well-located campsite on Lake Starnberg. You can easily circle the lake by bike. The staff was friendly.

A very nicely located and well-run campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities. Very well-maintained complex with direct access to Lake Starnberg. For a longer stay of one day or more, a reservation is recommended. Otherwise you have to expect to move often. There is a good restaurant at the adjacent tennis court. Get there early or make a reservation. The town of Seeshaupt can be reached on foot in just over 30 minutes by bike in just over 10 minutes. We would love to come back.

For EUR 48.50 per night in transit (motorhome and 2 adults) on a standard pitch (without lake view) you can expect a little more. The location of the entire campsite on the lake is very nice and quiet, but the pitch was quite narrow and only electricity connection was available at the site. There are only XL seats in the first row with a view of the lake, but they cost 75 EUR 🙈. The sanitary facilities are also just average. Rolls are only available if you order in advance, because at 8 a.m. the shop only had crispbread. Departure must be by 10:30 a.m. (arrival only by 6:00 p.m.). The attached restaurant "Seekantine" is also just a snack bar, where food is only available until 6:00 p.m. (no card payment possible).Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right here at all. 30 to 35 euros per night would be ok. For just under 50 euros you can get much more elsewhere, such as larger plots with a fresh water connection.

We arrived on Saturday. Were greeted very friendly and by name. We had that last time in Croatia but only because we were at the same place for 7 years and the staff was the same. Our plot is large, half gravel half lawn, ideal because it is almost autumn and it is also raining. No mud on the gravel. We look directly at the lake.Since the space is small, you can quickly reach the sanitary facilitiesWhich are clean and heated as I discovered this morning.Since it's Esbach season, I understand that the rolls have to be pre-ordered and the store no longer offers everything. I prefer it that way to getting old, expired goods. We were even asked the evening before if we wanted rolls, that's what I call serviceThanksConclusionWe had concerns about the place because some reviews weren't so goodBut I can't confirm thisThe showers are also free not with coins as in a reviewThere's just one thing I can't understandWhy can't you leave the power plug alone? In 5 days we have now had our plug pulled out slightly and not plugged back in properly twice in 5 days. This is very annoyingWe're all campers, why do we do something like this???I went to explore the place todayThe fitness room is amazing and I know where I'll be spending the next evening. And there are hotplates near the sinksThe washing machines are clean and well maintainedWe are thrilled
