Main Mann and I were guests at the Alt winery in Monzingen last weekend and were extremely satisfied.The Alt family is very nice, friendly and accommodating. The room was very well equipped and maintained. Overall, the winery made an extremely tasteful and well-kept impression. As a guest you feel very welcome and extremely comfortable. The wines and the food are excellent.

We had dinner at the Straußwirtschaft on a Friday evening. We had a great table and there was something for everyone on the small menu. The wines were very tasty and my husband really enjoyed the lovely red wine. At the end we sat comfortably with another couple. All around a lovely evening. THANK YOU for the great service, we'll be happy to come back

The reservation directly at the winery was very easy and, from a gastronomic point of view, very inviting.Our reception at the winery corresponded completely to the nice and friendly correspondence beforehand.Here the guest is respected, we felt really well looked after.The rooms have space for everything, are modern and, above all, super clean. This also applies to the public areas of the winery. From our point of view, the breakfast left nothing to be desired.It's a shame that we weren't able to try the winery's cuisine (Straußwirtschaft) this time due to the season.The winemaker's vesper on Saturday followed by a wine tasting was a highlight for us.Selectively harvested wines and clean aging are clearly reflected in the repertoire of all available wines from the winery. Here, as in the entire winery, the focus is on quality.Our senses and our impression say clearly:At least one more visit must be during the ostrich farming season.We definitely take a white and red wine package with us from the Nahe wine-growing region to the Mosel wine-growing region.Thanks to the Alt family, who really sweetened our wonderful first visit to the Nahe.RALF & KERSTIN

Very bad experienceWe arrived 45 minutes before closing time on Thursday morning and were the only ones at that time, but they didn't have time! for us to taste their wines - bad experience and service when they have official opening hours

Owner and staff super friendly! :-) We booked here as a young couple for two nights a few weeks ago and were completely satisfied. Breakfast was great and the rooms were very relaxed and well furnished. The wine fridge is of course also a dream for a relaxing evening. We would like to come back for more nights, for example with family, because the kitchen in the apartment is very practical for a longer stay.

I stayed overnight at the Alt winery on my pilgrimage. The Alt family is super nice, helpful and attuned to pilgrim guests. I had the opportunity to warm up the food I had brought with me and a bottle of delicious wine from the winery was simply a wonderful end to the day. Although I was the only breakfast guest, I was provided with the complete breakfast buffet with everything my heart could desire. Ms. Alt even provided me with a breakfast bag so that I could pack food for my day tour. All in all, I can only warmly recommend an overnight stay at Weingut Alt!

For the third time we spent a few lovely days in this wonderful place. A married couple who were friends accompanied us this year. We were all thrilled by the extremely nice Alt family, the very quiet and clean rooms and the delicious wine. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice courtyard, very good Riesling, a clean room for our tired pilgrim bones. Very friendly hosts! The furnishings are somewhat old-fashioned and spartan in style, hence only four points.

A wonderful place to stay. Nice room with a nice bed for a good night's sleep. After a delicious breakfast you are ready for the day. The Alt family also gives a lot of time to personal interests, which also creates a friendly atmosphere. Also a good base for me to go cycling.

We were there a total of three times last weekend and always unannounced and inappropriate. Even though the boss didn't have time, we were always served in a very polite and friendly manner.The Riesling has and tastes very good to us. In this way, thanks to the woman with the beautiful blue eyes☺️

My girlfriend and I stayed at the ALT guesthouse on our bike trip along the Nahe and we were thrilled.We slept really well in the beds, the room was very large and the breakfast was very, very tasty :). There was fresh grape juice from the winery, muesli, delicious sausage with a fresh bread basket... everything your heart could desire. I would particularly like to praise the hospitality. We received a very warm welcome and also received one or two tips about wine, but also about our next cycling stage.Overall I can only recommend it!!!

Wonderful place to stay, hospitable owners, beautiful rooms, and extensive breakfast. In addition to their busy work, there is plenty of time for an extensive tasting of the Alt wines. Delicious wines, so I brought a stock for the Netherlands.Highly recommended.
