Great apartment (only 1 hotplate!) - directly on the main street - breakfast is absolutely good - the food in the inn is very tasty - the staff remains friendly even though it is very overloaded.

We were there for dinner. Very cozy, great service and the food - a poem. We had three kinds of fish with vegetables and parsley potatoes. It was served quickly and tasted very, very good. The price is also completely reasonable. Reservation is recommended.

We were here for dinner. Staff very friendly but unfortunately the food didn't work out as hoped, unfortunately the roast was half raw, despite frying it again. Too bad. The portion was also very meager for this price.

We were there in the restaurant Esse, it was very nice and cozy, yet modernly furnished. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff was super nice. The portions of the food were just sufficient, and the food was also very tasty and arrived very quickly. No long wait as you sometimes know. So everything was great, we can only recommend it!

Large room, breakfast was sufficient, the fruit was no longer completely fresh... OK for a weekend.It was somewhat strange that the restaurant staff did not feel responsible for the rooms, but were the contact persons for check-in. Despite the announcement, we had to move into the sofa bed ourselves.There were different house rules in the room than were advertised when booking.

The pumpkin soup was outstanding! The main courses were manageable in terms of portion size and unfortunately below our expectations. The restaurant was recommended to us as outstanding.The service was great and the two ladies were very friendly and attentive.

Eating in tourist places is usually a difficult thing. I came across the trout in Thale via Google. There was still a place for me in the breakfast room, which was ok because it was furnished exactly like the restaurant: the furnishings unfortunately seemed a bit cheap with a lot of PCV film etc., which unfortunately also had an impact on the overall atmosphere. It's a shame for such a traditional house. The tables were also very close together, so there was hardly any privacy. The food, I had brawn, was good, although I have eaten better brawn. It was too firm, which gave it a rubbery appearance, and also lacked the acidity typical of brawn. The fried potatoes were dry, which is unusual for potatoes fried in fat. The service was perfect and very nice.

Unfortunately I can't say much about the inn as it was closed on a Sunday at the best time and doesn't open again until 5 p.m. Dogs are probably not allowed according to the signs. I don't know if it's in the beer garden.

Unfortunately I have to give one star, but that's already too much. When I opened the door to the restaurant and was still standing on the street, I was literally thrown out in an unfriendly manner by a small, dark-haired woman who was obviously suffering from obesity, even though I was still standing in front of the building, with the following words: "Come with me here Don't let dogs in!" Even my suggestion that a guest had written in a review that dogs were welcome was very rudely rejected by her. "That can't be!" This lady's behavior is not only unfriendly and unprofessional, but also very stupid because there is not enough restaurants in the holiday resort of Thale anyway. Or is that exactly why she treats guests with dogs so badly? Absolutely not recommended is this inn, where guests are treated with animals as if they were not worthy of being treated like normal people. I will accept restaurants that do not accept dogs if they tell me honestly and in a friendly manner. But here my experience has been confirmed once again: animals are better people. At least when it comes to people who believe that everyone else has to dance to their tune. I cannot recommend this inn, which employs people like the woman I described, or who may even be his boss, which I don't claim because I can't know, to anyone who loves animals or even keeps animals themselves.

It’s difficult to leave review for both restaurant experience and staying overnight in the guesthouse at the same time. The food is excellent! Chef is true expert. I had deer and my husband schnitzel. My meat was tender and juicy, my husband meal was good but not fantastic. Lovely deserts as well. Mind that this is very popular place, so you need to call and book the seats, especially if you want to sit outside in the beer garden. The room was clean, spacious, facing to the garden so less noisy , than the street facing rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and the lady was constantly checking whether everything is enough for the guests. My only problem, was the mattress, sooo soft, difficult not no sink in. The location is four stars because of the loud road and it’s a bit outside from the center. Service was hearty, but with a bit of toughness, and I did not feel as precious guest :) But overall it was very good experience and again, the food was excellent.
