This is a very late review of our stay - We came during the Christmas holiday in 2018.From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were treated as one of the owners family. It being the weekend before the Christmas holiday, meant that we were the only ones staying at the boarding house.We enjoyed the proximity to the grocery store next door, as well as how convenient it was to get on Bundesstraße 327 for our day trips around the area.The building is well maintained and you don't hear road noise from your room. The view from the deck on the 4th floor is wonderful during the snowing season.After our trip to REWE (which is managed by the family that owns the boardinghouse), we came upstairs to two chocolate santas and a lovely note from the owners welcoming us to Morbach.The next time that my family is able to take a trip to Germany, we will make sure to have Boardinghouse Morbach on that list of places to stay.

The boarding house is really great! You can tell that someone has put some thought into it and that everything has been thought of. Visually beautiful, the kitchen is more than adequately equipped and there are always small details that particularly stand out.Be it the wool blanket that comes in addition to the duvet or the small Bluetooth box (to name just two things).You can shop wonderfully directly opposite and there are parking spaces behind the house.Unfortunately the mattress was so soft that it was very saggy. If you're sensitive about it like I am, that's the only criticism I could find about this house :)

10/10 pointsToday was the 2nd week here and I was able to get an impression of the penthouse apartment and the rooms.About the penthouse apartment:Room:The bedroom is fully equipped with air conditioning and TV and enough space.Very good mattresses and great bed linenThere are enough sockets to charge everything.Bathroom: 10/10Everything is modern and cleanFresh towels and enough papers availableKitchen:Nothing is missing!!!!Snacks are available for very reasonable pricesDrinks pre-chilledA large selection of coffee and tea is available free of chargeLiving room:Fashionably well equippedCouch can be used as a bedVery convenientTerrace/balconyIndescribableI was wondering why hearing protection is available….The alarm clock goes off at 5:30 in the morning and the cup of coffee is on the balcony and you can see itThe plane to the cockSince I didn't hear it in the room, I was surprised at the perfect insulation in the houseI will be here for another 2 months and am very pleased with the service and the great support (even though it is a boarding house)WiFi is great (it's getting better), but with 3 cell phones and 1 PC, the line is stableShops right next door from 6:00 a.mFresh fresh fresh and regionalNegative:No elevator :D(something has to be negative)But you can walk 1 floor ;)The room service is really clean and tidyIn all the reviews I make in hotels or restaurants, I see everything optimistically and neutrallyUnfortunately (despite intensive searching) I didn't find anything negativeIf I have forgotten hygiene products at home, items are offered for small prices that can be purchased on a trust basis (based on the list).About my review:I neither know the operator nor do I receive any compensation for this!If you don't believe me, you are welcome to read my critical reviews in the other hotels

We were just in the boarding house in Morbach for the second (and not the last) time. And once again everything was perfect! Check-in was easy and well prepared. Great rooms, big enough, clean, modern and equipped in such a way that nothing is missing. With attention to detail - simply to feel good. In addition, a very fair price/performance ratio. And in the REWE store opposite you can experience service that is second to none. The really well-prepared and informative brochure that presents the philosophy of the work is not just a piece of writing (paper is usually patient), it is also implemented 1:1 and lived adequately. There you will only meet friendly, committed and helpful people. This also applies to the ladies who do the cleaning! If you as a customer want to feel like a queen, you should definitely treat yourself to the journey there. Great cinema! Thank you very much, dear Mr. Knichel!

The rooms are well equipped, have modern furnishings and some small refinements (Bluetooth speakers, an emergency cosmetics cabinet, we even found a hand broom when we needed it, charging cable with plug, extensive kitchen equipment, additional blankets and seat cushions for outside, ...) that pleased us. You had the feeling that “everything had been thought of”. The mattresses were comfortable and the pillows were appropriately full. Really TOP.Unfortunately our room (4) was very loud. On weekdays we could only sleep with the windows closed because the noise from the companies opposite started at 5 a.m.

We stayed at the Boarding House Morbach for 2 nights. It was great. The check-in was quick and without much bureaucracy (booked via booking). The rooms are large enough (including the bathroom), modernly furnished and very well equipped. From dishes to cleaning supplies to the coffee machine, etc. everything was there. The mattresses were also completely fine. Overall, the boarding house is in very good condition. Opposite there is a REWE supermarket where you can get your groceries. Absolutely recommended address for overnight stays.
