September 2024We stayed here for a long weekend. What can I say? You're usually only in your room to sleep, otherwise you're out and about exploring your surroundings. But if you can't really sleep because you can hear every toilet flush and every shower (at 2 a.m.) in the neighboring room, then it stops. And in the morning the church bells sound the alarm. Breakfast was like that, nothing special.

A hotel run by the third generation in a beautiful little town.What should be emphasized is the unpretentious friendliness of the hotel owners. Our room had a small balcony, was renovated with laminate flooring, there was an admittedly very small TV and WiFi.The bathroom had the charm of the 70s, but that didn't bother us as the shower had a decent jet.All I can say about breakfast is that it was more than sufficient. Bread, rolls, cereals, quark, yoghurt, fruit, local sausage, cheese and homemade jam. If something was missing, it was refilled immediately.If you stay at the hotel, you should definitely have dinner there too.The menu is sufficient, even small portions were offered.The food was freshly prepared and came to the table quickly and hot.The senior managers lovingly looked after the guests. They made us feel like we had been good friends for a long time.Conclusion: You notice the routine and friendliness that have been instilled over generations, but we believe that it comes from the heart and is not an act. Neither generation was pushy, but available if you had questions.We felt very good because they contributed.Kind regards from Bergisch (from Wuppertal)

Excellent price-performance ratio. We have been there 4 times for a week each and always very satisfied. The hotel is a family business. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the ground floor is also highly recommended.

Nice hotel, the rooms are getting old but ninjas we are talking about a 3 star hotel and not a Best Western. The welcome is warm and friendly, the breakfast is good and sufficient, the water pressure in the shower is great! I also know other praise for it! All in all a very pleasant stay. 👍

Small hotel, but completely sufficient. The rooms are very clean. The service is simply unbeatable, very, very nice and familiar. Dinner there is also highly recommended. Everything was fresh and very tasty. At breakfast, coffee, tea and eggs were always made fresh.
