We are currently staying at the Garni Hotel “Zur Hessische Schweiz” in DörnhagenAs part of this year's EWU Hessen Championship.We feel right at home here!!!An extremely tidy and clean hotel with lovingly furnished rooms and great, cozy rooms.Life in the country can be lived and enjoyed to the fullest here.The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired with very friendly service.We therefore award the rating “absolutely recommended” and deserve 6 out of 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A very nice old inn. I think it's really great that we as fitters were thought of here. There is a room where you can put your food in the fridge, microwave, kettle and cutlery.The two ladies who make breakfast for us every morning are also very nice and accommodating.There is a beer garden on the farm that is freely accessible. I believe.There is a table football table in the anteroom to the beer garden. We will try it out on Monday (during our next stay).The inn is right on a main street but I can't say it was loud. The windows block out the noise well.The bathroom that me and my colleague had was also clean and very well maintained. (we each had a room)

Clean and pleasant. You can sleep and eat a good breakfast. Nice staff who take care of cleanliness and make sure the breakfast is tasty, e.g. eggs are served in three versions to choose from.

In room 13 (the so-called apartment) the bathroom was completely dirty, dusty and covered in cobwebs. How long does no one have to clean there for a hotel bathroom to look like this? The duvet smelled stuffy and spongy. My request for new bedding was complied with, but the smelly duvet was put back into the new bedding. This condition cannot be compared with the low overnight price and I will never stay here again! Too bad

We wanted to spend one night in the hotel.We drove back shortly after we arrived.The room was dirty and the landlady gave us another room or another hotel so we decided on another accommodation.We were very shocked by what we were offered.

We were there with a large group and were able to use the beer garden with a gas grill. We were able to bring food and drinks with us for the evening and prepare and cool everything in a small kitchen. We were able to use dishes from the hotel and they even washed them for us. With great weather, we really enjoyed our time there and had a great weekend. The rooms were all very nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. All in all a successful weekend. :)))

Very cheap, very quiet, very clean accommodation. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but it says so in the description. Whenever I'm in the region again, I'll be a guest here again 😊👍🏼

Cozy little hotel in a rustic style. Comfortable beds, instant hot water in modernized bathrooms and a service that comparable hotels can easily copy (Mrs. Ziegler deserves special mention for the service, thank you very much!).At night you can access your key via an external wall safe, so that a late check-in can be made without having to arrive beforehand.Excellent!
