The hotel has all the advantages of a family-run hotel. Café and restaurant are very good. The location on the edge of the forest is wonderful. Over the years I have been able to enjoy many relaxing holidays there. Willingen without Waldhotel would be like soup without salt.

Family-run hotel in a quiet location. Unfortunately it's getting a bit old. The swimming pool is not really inviting and needs to be renovated. We therefore only used it once - a shame, especially since we wanted to use the vacation as a wellness and relaxation vacation. However, the family always tries. The breakfast was sufficient, but it would have been nice if there had been a little more variety in the hot dishes.Room service was very good and very polite and accommodating.The stay was okay, but unfortunately nothing more, which is why we wouldn't book this hotel a second time.

The hotel is located directly at the bike park. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The service staff was very attentive and polite. However, the swimming pool is a bit old, but the size is sufficient. We were happy to be able to go swimming after visiting the bike park.We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Very nice hotel. The room was very clean and there were also nice little things.The food in the restaurant is highly recommended and you didn't miss anything at the buffet either.The staff is very nice and accommodating. Great, keep it up :)We would love to come back again.

We redeemed an overnight voucher in this very nice hotel. We received a very warm welcome, the service was super friendly and accommodating.The menu that we had to book was also very tasty and the breakfast was more than sufficient and varied.The rooms are very large and clean, the sauna is small but also cozy and nice.We really liked it here and we will definitely come back again.

Beautiful hotel, great food, service super friendly, the room, garden side perfect. Children's playground available. Very nicely laid out. Swimming pool and sauna recommended. Although the hotel is located directly at/in the bike park, it is still suitable for hikers. We were definitely not there for the last time.

My big sister and I wanted to go on a little wellness vacation together and came across this hotel.What should we say? It was so wonderful!Not only is the food super delicious, there is also an incredibly good selection of different dishes - all you need is a small note and the food will be adapted to your wishes. For example, I ate vegetarian food and every meal was adapted accordingly.My sister eats gluten-free and ordered gluten-free bread the first morning, which was put on the table the next day when we came for breakfast in exactly the same amount as eaten the day before. This should definitely make it clear that the staff is not only incredibly friendly and helpful, but also totally attentive!We have never felt so taken care of and treated so well anywhere.You could find staff all day long and every question was answered straight away.The service is just really good.The room we slept in was definitely clean and there was plenty of space. The view from the room and from the balcony is simply indescribable.The wellness area is also incredibly relaxing. We were able to try out the pool and sauna and it was really enjoyable!The masseuse from whom we had a massage twice is also super friendly. Her offering is really comprehensive and she explains everything in a very understandable way!It was truly an exciting and wonderful experience and we will definitely come back!A huge thank you to all the staff and an absolute recommendation to anyone who wants to vacation in Willingen and the surrounding area!
