Sport- & Vital-Resort Neuer Hennings Hof

The fact is that the resort really has great potential but desperately needs some improvements. Here is a summary of my impressions and a few suggestions for resort management to bring the experience back to previous levels:Positive:• Location and atmosphere: The resort is quiet and secluded - ideal for a wellness holiday.• Offer: Tennis, swimming pool, saunas, fitness studio, mini golf, billiards, table tennis, bowling, beauty area and much more offer a lot of variety.• Friendly staff: Friendliness is particularly appreciated at reception, cleaning and at the bar, and this certainly contributes positively to the overall atmosphere.• Room: Despite the defective television, which was quickly replaced, I slept well in the bed and found the room to be clean.Points for improvement:1. Sauna area:• The previous service with sauna care, infusions and small refreshments no longer seems to be available.• Functioning showers and the plunge pool are partially missing, which is important for a wellness experience. There was no water in the plunge pool.• Access to the outdoor sauna is poorly maintained and full of leaves, making it uncomfortable to use.2. Fitness area:• The unstaffed bar in the fitness area contributes to the feeling that service has been skimped on in some places.3. Cu Bar:• There used to be dance or disco evenings there, which made the stay more varied. The absence of these events is a step backwards.4. Staff in the sauna area:• There is a lack of staff in the saunas, which also limits the possibility of infusions by employees, although this is actually intended according to the instructions.5. Maintenance and repairs:• Some facilities, such as showers and plunge pools, are not in perfect condition.• There appears to be a lack of maintenance and repairs, which is unfortunate for a resort in this price range.Conclusion:My impression that the resort still has potential but desperately needs maintenance and service improvements is clear. With a return to previous service and better care of the facilities, the resort could certainly become more attractive again.Best regardsFranky Duke

Great hotel with fitness and wellness options. Nice and helpful staff. Rooms are chic, clean, well-kept and brightly furnished. Food tastes delicious. The bar offers everything your heart desires. You can have a great holiday here even with children. We'll be back.

In my opinion it is absurd for a “Sport & Vitality Hotel” that the entire shower, every silicone strip and so on is full of mold. Even the exhaust air in the bathroom. Please do not arrive with children.Secondly, after booking there was no information that the pool was being repaired, that's normal, something always breaks. But you should at least point this out to your customers. Or refund a small part of the money...Rooms are otherwise quite tidy.The hotel is in a quiet location, if you have sensitive ears you should still close the window as you can hear the cars on the main street, but only at the edge.

A successful weekend.The hotel complex is very well maintained and the rooms are furnished in a contemporary manner. A small refrigerator would be desirable here. There is a wide range of sports on offer and a spacious wellness area with a great panoramic outdoor sauna. The swimming pool and the saunas within the building are a little old, but they completely serve their purpose. We really liked the gastronomy. Both breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired with a wide selection and very good quality. The staff rounded everything off, always friendly and helpful, which is something the hotel can be proud of.

We've been here several times.There is nothing wrong with the hotel.The sports facilities, however, urgently need an overhaul.Mini golf... not suitable for serious tournaments. The pool could also use more TLC. Brown drain grates and tiles in the edge area.There used to be a water massage table here. It's still there, but it's broken and it's just a storage room... What a shame...

We have been to the new Hennigshof several times, it is in a very nice location. The hotel has a great concept, the staff is very friendly and always tries to fulfill all your wishes. Unfortunately, the wellness facility is getting a bit old and it urgently needs to be renovated. Showers and the plunge pool have been out of service for a long time. The wooden benches in the saunas are not in order and in the relaxation rooms in the wellness farm, water damage is clearly visible and loungers are broken.In the apartment by the lake the mattresses are far too soft or simply worn out. In addition, some minor damage also needs to be repaired. Broken lamps in the bathroom (only small bulbs/no lampshade). For a 4 star hotel it looks shabby.I would be very happy if criticism expressed was accepted. We have felt very comfortable over the last few years, although unfortunately it was a bit dampened on our last visit.

The staff tried very hard to fulfill the guest's wishes. Which is not easy given the infrastructure and some of the hardware (room furnishings, beds, installations, wellness area, service in the room) that are clearly …

Cosmetics and spa area absolutely recommended!

The hotel was booked over a short period of time. Communication was very good, we received the complete document within 24 hours.When we arrived we immediately had the impression that the hotel was getting old. Check-in was easy and early at no extra charge. The bathing lake is/was partly overgrown with sea grass and algae, and a boat was constantly driving around to get the lake clean again. Unfortunately there was no information about the lake online, only a small information sheet that it could be noisy. The staff in the HP restaurant were extremely friendly (especially Ms. Diep). The food was very good and the bar staff didn't look too happy but still made a good drink.
