We rented the log cabin for 4 nights at the end of August.Very nice accommodation with garage.In the morning for breakfast we sat together with all the guests at a large table in the main house, which always resulted in good conversations.

We rented the hunting lodge for two days.It has its own garage and the rooms in the main house have private parking spaces.The bathroom has a nice large shower or steam shower and underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped and you could cater for yourself.Some of the windows have insect screens, but there is also a mosquito net hanging over the bed, which is also recommended during the peak mosquito season, as there is a small body of water next to the hunting lodge.The breakfast buffet takes place in the main building between 8 and 10 a.m., with the good housekeeper accepting requests.Unfortunately, she had trouble understanding us and couldn't answer our question about the game reserve, which I would have really liked to see.

The review refers to the wooden houses, not the villa.We booked two houses for New Year's Eve. We wanted to escape the noise with our dogs and got the tip from Jork. Unfortunately it wasn't quiet at all, but rather the opposite. This is information for dog owners who want to keep their dog safe from the firecrackers.The small wooden houses are very nicely decorated. At first glance we were totally thrilled. Unfortunately there was a lack of cleanliness, which disturbed the atmosphere. The oven was so dirty that it couldn't be used at all. The kettle could also be replaced and there was still dog hair on the sofa from the previous guest. Since an additional 40 euros per house is due for the final cleaning after the dog, we expected more. The refrigerators also had to be cleaned. It's a shame, because the small houses have a lot of potential and are actually nicely furnished. But when it comes to a feel-good stay, cleanliness is the top priority, hence the 3 stars

Great clean and very large room. Family run. Breakfast is very dignified and you can have a great conversation at a large table. In the middle of the apple orchard. The roof terrace offers the best view of the ships on the Elbe. If you don't like mass processing, you've come to the right place.

We had a wonderful time in a very nice hotel.Great house and a very nice room with a view over the apple orchards.Nice concept to sit at a breakfast table with the other guests.The breakfast was good and filling and the “housekeeper” was very nice and attentive!A perfect location for extended bike tours.We would love to come back again!Thank you very much for the great time!

We had a very nice room. But when we arrived there was only telephone contact. There was no other contact person on site either. On the second day there were no more eggs and the service staff couldn't find the juices either. The departure took place without any contact.

True to the motto "Don't look, just find" we came across this house by chance during the apple harvest. A hand-picked box of “Red Prince”. Great location for exploring the Altes Land. Impressive architecture, you can see the host's connection to Namibia. Cultivated. A really nice employee made extra apple jelly for us. We'd be happy to come back when we're in the area again. At the end of September, my wife and I spent a few days in the “hunting lodge” and really enjoyed the location in the apple orchards and having breakfast with the other guests in the “living room kitchen”. Although we weren't very lucky with the weather, we were able to visit Stade, Buxtehude and Hamburg, as well as explore the area by bike in one day. Many thanks to Mr. zum Felde and his employee for their hospitality. We liked it very much. We'd love to come back and bring better weather with us.Michael and Traudel Friday

For the second time, we and friends chose Villa Altes Land as a home for a long weekend in this region. It was a pleasure for us to stay again in the house of this friendly and courteous host.You can only feel comfortable in the spacious and tastefully furnished rooms and receive an excellent breakfast with nothing missing. The next visit is already being planned.
