Too bad it wasn't delivered.Are not able to offer a vegan breakfast. Luckily we were told when booking that other hotels offer alternatives... Nothing here

The parking space at Kollmar harbor is apparently taken by them, no matter how long you stand there, in our case 1 hour and 15 minutes, and you have to pay the price for the whole day and night, €20 for no water, no electricity, no toilet. We actually wanted to continue after a short break, so we'll stay and live it up 🤷🏻♀️ unbelievable!!!

We were able to hold our free wedding including wedding reception in the Fährhaus Kollmar. We had all booked hotel rooms and had breakfast together on Sunday. We had a wonderful celebration and can only recommend the Fährhaus Kollmar.The wedding on the sun terrace was an absolute dream, the view of the Elbe and the dike is beautiful.Organization:In the run-up to the celebration, Ms. Wittmaack was available at any time to answer our questions and requests. She supported us well with the planning and was a great help to us.Decoration:The Fährhaus Kollmar works closely with Claudia Wenig, owner of Florales Blumen und mehr, who took over the decoration for our wedding. Here too, the agreement between the organizer, the bride and groom and the florist worked perfectly and we were able to enjoy a beautiful floral decoration both on the sun terrace and on the tables.Service:The service on the day of the event did a perfect job. All the service staff were super warm, attentive and made you feel completely comfortable. Thanks to you, we had a wonderful day at the Fährhaus Kollmar and were able to concentrate entirely on ourselves and our guests and celebrate wildly.All in all, we had a wonderful celebration and a lovely stay at Fährhaus Kollmar.

We had a wonderful family celebration on a Sunday lunchtime in the Fährhaus. The location directly on the Elbe is beautiful. From the beautiful terrace you have a direct view of the dike and the water. The rooms are nicely modernized and the food is very good. The entire team is very friendly and accommodating and the service is very good. We can definitely recommend the Fährhaus and would be happy to come back. Thank you for this beautiful day.

Our wedding at Fährhaus Kollmar was simply perfect, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of location! From the start, the process went smoothly and transparently. From the first conversation to the final meeting and even after the wedding, communication between Ms. Wittmaack and the team was clear and extremely professional.We chose the Fährhaus Kollmar because of its exclusivity and were thrilled that we could plan a free wedding ceremony on the beautiful terrace with a view of the Elbe. The ability to design our celebration according to our wishes was a big plus. Using the lovingly designed banquet folder, we were able to choose the food, drinks, midnight snack and setting the tables according to our ideas. Everything was also completely transparent in terms of price, so we knew exactly what to expect from the start.Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate on the day of the wedding and it rained so heavily that the ceremony couldn't take place outside. However, the location and our service providers quickly came up with a great plan B so that the wedding took place indoors and everything still ran smoothly. We were impressed by how flexible and professional the team handled it. This quickly alleviated the worry that had suddenly arisen.The service staff were consistently friendly, courteous and extremely attentive. They even catered to the little guests' requests, such as canapés without butter, which the families particularly appreciated. The food - we opted for a buffet - was simply excellent and we were completely happy with our choice.The communication late in the evening, for example regarding the cutting of the cake or the extension of drinks packages, was also very pleasant, as the service staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We felt we were in good hands at all times.We also booked the hotel rooms in the Fährhaus for our family and close relatives, and they were beautifully furnished and very spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable, so that all guests slept wonderfully and were able to start the next day refreshed.The next morning we were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast in a small group and end the weekend perfectly.For us it was the absolute dream wedding and we would highly recommend this wonderful location to everyone. Many thanks to the entire ferry house team for this unforgettable day!

We were recently able to celebrate our wedding at the Fährhaus Kollmar. We had a wonderfully beautiful wedding ceremony on the terrace. The view of the Elbe is great. In the evening we were able to admire some large ships. Our entire celebration was simply perfect, many thanks to the whole team for the attentive service and the wonderful food. We felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the location!

We went to the breakfast/brunch buffet today. The selection was huge, everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything tasted excellent and the coffee was very good. We had a nice seat and would recommend the whole thing.

We had our wedding reception in this location and were completely thrilled! The service was excellent, the staff were always attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious and was always refilled quickly. Katja and Morten were available to us at all times and supported us with all of our questions and concerns. The location itself was beautifully decorated and the entire process went smoothly. We couldn't imagine a better location for our special day. Many thanks to the entire team for an unforgettable wedding celebration!

It's a great location locally.Services for the rooms are kept simple,Since no one is on site, everything can only be clarified via cell phone.It will be very difficult for people with walking difficulties.At our celebration, it became very expensive, flat rates for the late evening were rescheduled. Personally, I felt it was a bit of a rip-off. The location is of course getting old.The service was very nice. The breakfast was also great.

Dear Fährhaus team,We would like to say thank you for making our wedding such a special day!!When we were looking for a location for our wedding, the Fährhaus stood out to us from the start and quickly became our favorite. We really liked the website, with the banquet folder created especially for events, as it gave you a direct overview of all the services. So we were able to start our planning straight away. The first contact was super pleasant and a short-term appointment was also made possible so that we could take a look at the location at our leisure. We felt at home in the Fährhaus from the very first moment, both thanks to the warm manner of Katja, who gave us great advice, and the super cozy and fantastic location.During the planning, Katja was always there to answer any questions we had and always tried to make our wishes possible. A second appointment at the location for more concrete planning was also no problem. Katja also gave us valuable tips when planning, which definitely helped us a lot.It was also great for us that we could use the hotel on site, as many of our guests came from further away.When we arrived at the Fährhaus on the day of our wedding, we were just super happy with the location that had been so lovingly prepared. The beautifully decorated roof terrace with a view of the Elbe was one of the many highlights for our guests.The service staff was very accommodating and super friendly. We have never experienced this so positively in any other location.Both we and all the guests were more than satisfied with the food. Even afterwards, many guests came up to us and gave us feedback that the food was perfect. We were able to put together the buffet according to our wishes in advance and here too Katja was there to help and advise us.When calculating the flat rates for drinks, for example, everything was fair and transparent right from the start, so there were no unpleasant surprises in the final bill.The morning after the party we were able to book an extensive breakfast with our guests who had stayed at the hotel and a few other guests, which was very tasty and, above all, very nice and cozy in the café. This was the perfect ending to our wedding.A clear recommendation from our side. 😊

Even the weather was great, so we could enjoy the magically decorated terrace with a view of the Elbe. The rooms and the breakfast in the morning, everything perfect, thank you!

The Fährhaus is an absolute recommendation!We celebrated our dream wedding at the Fährhaus at the weekend and were completely satisfied. A very big thank you goes out to Ms. Wittmaack and the whole team at Fährhaus!As soon as we entered the restaurant, we fell in love with the look and charm of the lovingly modernized and beautifully furnished rooms, which are in no way inferior to the unique and fantastic location directly on the Elbe, and quickly decided that our wedding should take place here.In Ms. Wittmaack we have a reliable and loving contact person who was available to us at any time and who always had a suitable answer to all of our questions.On our wedding day everything worked out as previously discussed. At this point we would particularly like to highlight the great service. We as the bride and groom were not the only ones who found the service crew to be extremely attentive, friendly and super fast. On the evening of our wedding, several of our guests emphasized how great the staff at the Fährhaus are.We were also impressed by the adjacent hotel rooms. Not only was the short distance from our party to bed very convenient for us and some of our guests, the design of the rooms is also very modern. The lovingly prepared breakfast the next day was a fitting conclusion.Many thanks to the Fährhaus for allowing us to celebrate our dream wedding with you!

For our wedding in June 2024, we were already looking for a suitable wedding location for around 60 people in 2023.In initial online research, Fährhaus Kollmar was already in the top three locations that had piqued our interest.It was the first location we wanted to visit and should also be the last. The on-site appointment took place with Ms. Wittmaack.As soon as you entered the premises, your gut feeling was right. Due to its location on the dike with a view of the Elbe and the superbly furnished (freshly renovated) rooms, the location is immediately convincing.Beforehand, you could get an idea of drinks, food and costs using a very detailed online map. In the first appointment we discussed roughly our wishes for the evening and the evening's schedule.As a “wedding layman” you have already been informed about certain necessary periods of time and have received good tips. After the first cost estimate, we commissioned the location at short notice.In the months that followed, the more precise details were clarified and until the wedding there was never the feeling that any questions remained unanswered.An advantage of the location is the attached hotel, which is available for a celebration. Due to Kollmar's somewhat remote location, guests are happy to take advantage of overnight accommodation.Alternatively, you can spend the night cheaply in the parking lot in a camper, with a view of the Elbe.When we arrived on the wedding day, everything was already perfectly prepared. The tables were exactly as discussed and the service staff friendly handed out the first drinks.In general, I have never experienced such attentive staff. Not just the bride and groom, every guest was taken care of immediately.This continued at the later barbecue buffet. All guests were well looked after here and I have never tasted such delicious potato gratin. Big compliments to the kitchen again at this point.With regard to flat rates / billing based on proof and personal contributions, everything was fair and there were no unpleasant surprises in the final invoice a few days later.At this point, thanks again to everyone involved at the Fährhaus for the wonderful evening we were able to spend with you.We would like to use this great service again at any time for other occasions.Clear recommendation from our side.

Unfortunately apparently closed on weekdays, it was there shortly before 12 p.m. on a Tuesday and unfortunately closed.Unfortunately, the construction site on Colmar Beach is also very counterproductive.Hopefully the construction site will be finished by July or August?

Father's Day, meaning Ascension Day, was admittedly a bad idea. The umpf umpf of boxes of various celebrations of non-fathers was nothing for me and my wife. But I think it's pretty nice there without an extreme holiday. Therefore 4 out of 5.
