As always, we are all very satisfied. The buffet has a huge selection. Everything tastes very tasty. The service staff are always very friendly. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The view is fantastic. We would be very, very happy to come back.

Remotely located on an oxbow loop of the Eider with a harbor for pleasure boats.Huge buffet with many different dishes, from game to roulades, poultry, suckling pig and much more! Vegetable side dishes are extremely rich, it's difficult to list everything and it's impossible to try everything... too much! But everything that was tried was delicious! Unbeatable price-performance ratio. Advance registration is absolutely necessary... they are fully booked!Overnight accommodation with approx. 10 rooms is available... not tested.

Buffet today was great, plenty of choice and always something for young and old. The price was also very good, we paid just under €30 per person - with a total of 3 soft drinks.

From 11.07. To be reduced from 5☆ to 1☆ in 2023 by September 28, 2024 - very tragic.2nd addendum, September 28, 24024:I met a friend there at 3 p.m. for coffee, cake and a chat. The Old Ferry House only opened at 5 p.m. Nothing else happens apart from the buffet. What a shame!!1. Addendum, 1 year later:Visit on Saturday, July 13th, 2024, around 4:30 p.m.:There is no menu anymore! Only buffets & events are offered on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.The selection of cakes was extensive. There were 2 cakes for diabetics (10 cents!! cheaper than a tall piece of cake). The plate was pressed into your hand. At least with a napkin and cake fork.Coffee and tea were still served to the table.The view of the Eider is still beautiful.I reduce my awarded stars to 🌟 🌟 🌟.We had dinner here for my girlfriend's 60th birthday. From the terrace we had a wonderful view of the Eider. The service is very nice and attentive. The food - 2x fish plates and fried herrings each with fried potatoes - was very rich and lovingly prepared. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant Zum Alten Fährhaus Lexfähre is always a very good recommendation.

Went there for an Italian buffet. Very pleasant atmosphere in an idyllic landscape. The buffet was very large with a large selection. Very nice service and a nice welcome. Price performance was very good. Unfortunately I didn't get any of the lasagne, it was always empty and nothing was refilled later. But it was a really nice evening. Stop by and see for yourself 😀

I had heard a lot of good things and I have to say it's really true.Buffet on the occasion of the Dithmarscher Cabbage Days, with a huge selection. Cold and warm, with and without cabbage, meat and fish, various desserts. A really great attentive service. The buffet was constantly refilled, plates were always cleared away immediately, drink requests were quickly fulfilled and everything was attractive Prices. But be sure to reserve well in advance, demand is high.Thanks to the whole team.
