A bit expensive for the look of the hotel, but the top location in the city center of Amsterdam justifies the price. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff cheerful and helpful. However, a visit is not recommended for people who have problems with steep and many stairs. A great joy for lovers of authentic Amsterdam architecture.

Been here many times, the single room with double bed and private bathroom 4th floor for me is the best option they offer, you get a full front view on the beautiful river, the position is absolutely the best you can get in central AMS next to central station and the price also.. it’s clean and basic has heating and no lift available.

Room was not ready at 1500 as per booking. Had to wait at the reception and then given a different room because it would take more than half an hour. Housekeeping checks your room, sneaks around but do not clean anything. Keep your valuables safe and with you, do not leave them in the room. Place does not feel safe and overall the shared area looks and feels dirty. I would not recommend this place. It’s overpriced for the facilities and service. The only good thing about it is that its in the city centre. That’s all

It was ok at best. The rooms were small but relatively clean. The bathroom and shower were 1 room (no separation) there was something yellow on the sink. 24h reception which is nice. Its ok if you only need a hotel to sleep but don’t expect any luxury or anything fancy. The location is good and there is a luggage room so that was handy. Wouldn’t go again but was ok for once. Also kinda expensive

Warning avoid at all costs, you would be better sleeping on the street…..Hotel room had mouldy curtains, a shower door that fell off mid way through a shower, a mattress that had a huge indent in if and finally a bathroom that doubled as a wet room seeing as the drain didn’t not work.Please do not stay here, you’d be better sleeping in one of the many public urinals that Amsterdam has to offer

Hotel room stinks of urine and as if someone was buried in the walls you go to reception and the staff was ignorant and very rarely there we waited almost 25 minutes trying to find staff to check in hotel the room we had had mold on curtains and the shower drainage system was awful the shower door didn’t work and the beds was terrible overall a bad hotel don’t recommend the only good thing is the location

Just disgusting, money paid for jail. The only thing missing from the window that doesn't open is the bars. In the bathroom you get fungus on your feet, the toilet doesn't flush and there are sweat stains on the beds.

It is good with its proximity to the train station, but the rooms are small. There is no elevator. We had to carry our bags up 4 floors. Thank you, they treated us well in terms of service. They helped us take our bags to the room and helped us take them down again. Thank you

Central hotel, uncomfortable and very steep stairs, filthy carpet on the stairs, very small rooms, after 10am being close to the station you start to see strange people.

Overall 1 star. 2 stars for the room, 1 for service, 3 for location. No elevator, lobby upstairs above the ground floor. My room was missing toilet paper, had stained pillows, and the service was nearly impossible to deal with upon checking in. A fight broke out in the lobby in the middle of the night. A bouncer nearly blocked me from getting to my room. Not to mention the construction all day long.

The room is quite small and there is no elevator..we went up to the 4th floor with our suitcases which was not easy at all, the stairs are quite dangerous with very small steps!!but I can say that its location is very good and the service is prompt and nice view!! also something I didn't like was that several days the entrance of the accommodation was dirty!!
