We came across here by chance on a hike. Unfortunately there was a class reunion that day so we couldn't settle down. But we took home some delicious cake that we made ourselves, which tasted great. We will definitely visit the café again on the next hike.

A cafe, quite hidden. If you are traveling in the Lunzenau - Wechselburg area and follow the Göhren Viaduct, you will find it quite quickly. Parking spaces for visitors to the café are available a few meters away. Then it's just a few meters up the mountain and you're standing in the outside area of the café. You can't see the great viaduct from the patio. There are trees in front of it and I can't say anything about the cafe itself, nor anything about the food. The café doesn't open until 2 p.m. So I can only judge the optical impression.

A pretty idyllic spot which is unfortunately destroyed by the bad mood of the owner and staff. We used the wrong one, over the small playground, and were literally reprimanded where to walk.Coffee and ice cream were ok, but for us there was no reason to have to endure these moods again. The only friendly moment? When he brought the bill.

Idyllically located café with a beautiful view of the Zwickauer Mulde. Coffee, cake and ice cream were delicious. The man of the house, as many others have already described, has a very austere charm (not to say extremely unfriendly). It's a shame, because this beautiful spot is only recommended for guests who want to be treated really badly.

On the recommendation of a friend, we decided to end the day there with coffee and cake after my husband's funeral. On the day I placed the order, the man of the house was rather curt and unfriendly. But ok, everyone has a bad day once in a while. Unfortunately that's not the case there. We arrived and were briefed with short, concise words. Coffee and cake were good and the rooms also have a certain charm. Hospitality and service, however, were subpar. I have worked in the catering industry for many years and can ignore a lot of things, but I have never experienced anything like this. Silent service, no request for drinks and when asked the answer was "I'm alone, no time". I was ashamed in front of my guests and we definitely won't be coming back.
