We have stayed with the Schmidt family many times and are always very satisfied. The daughter can feed the sheep and the parents can have breakfast outside when the weather is nice, which is always very fresh and prepared with love. Communication is always top. Thanks so much.

If you like it quiet and love nature, this is the right place. We were allowed to stay in the guesthouse for a week and were super satisfied, everything was very clean, large closet where everyone has space for their things, floor-level shower, bright room, large parking lot behind the house. Free WiFi :-) very important for teenagers :-) We didn't hear anything from the other guests/workers. We'd love to come back.

We were guests at Pension Schmidt for 2 days and were completely satisfied. Susan Schmidt is very attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms are absolutely clean, the breakfast is first class. From home-baked rolls, bread, home-made jam, fresh chicken eggs, sausage from the butcher, juices, mueslis, baked cakes, fresh coffee. You won't find that in a single hotel. In the morning you are greeted by chickens and sheep. It's very funny. I can highly recommend the guesthouse. Best regards and thank you for your help with my lost glasses. This arrived home undamaged. Kind regards and maybe see you soon.

Absolutely not recommended when dealing with guests. Was a guest before, never again. The private harassment and penetrance regarding cancellations (due to illness) are incomprehensible. Be careful, in the event of cancellations you will be threatened with a lawyer and immediately commissioned dubious debt collection companies (media finanz Osnabrück), combined with a very rude manner of communication. Only book if you are 100% sure that you do not have to cancel. Anyone who acts as a host should not be surprised if guests stay away.

It was just fantastically beautiful :) I felt like I was at home from the second I saw it! Everything was super clean and so lovingly furnished, the food was excellent and super tasty. Slept like a log. The hosts are so nice and incredibly sweet. Rarely have I had such a great stay. We'd love to come back. :)

A great guesthouse in a quiet location with an excellent breakfast buffetWe spent two unforgettable days here and felt completely at home. The rooms are very clean and modernly furnished; Everything you need is there and the hosts are extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast in the cozy bakery offers a huge selection and something for every taste: home-baked food, homemade jams and eggs straight from the farm. Both children and our dog were very welcome and are already looking forward to the next time. A real insider tip due to the location, you can reach Altenburg in 5 minutes by car, the city is also easy to reach on foot and yet has a wonderfully quiet location. We would love to come back :)

We spent a few nights with the Schmidt family. It was very nice, the 5 star breakfast alone is worth an overnight stay. Every morning there was a different special feature on the very rich buffet. And the home-baked bread is the best we have ever eaten. Luckily we were able to take something home with us. Thank you for the loving effort you put into your guests. We can only recommend you!

Super nice hosts, really chic, clean rooms. The farm is very well maintained. We had the upper apartment and it was a lovely idyll to have breakfast with the animals in the morning.
