All very disappointing and unacceptable!Our two double rooms were booked weeks in advance and the booking was confirmed. When we arrived we found out that there was only one room available in the hotel and that a couple was being accommodated elsewhere, even though there were obviously hardly any guests in the house. This one couple was supposed to drive after the landlady. It was accommodated almost 2 km away on the upper floor in a "holiday apartment" in the hotel operator's private house. The apartment looked as if someone still lived there, as there were many private items there that normally have no place in a holiday apartment. The furnishings and furniture were ancient and not at all contemporary (which, by the way, is not much different in the hotel). In the supposed holiday apartment there was no WiFi, only an old tube TV that didn't work and no toilet paper either. The apartment hadn't been cleaned for weeks, you could write/paint in the dust with your finger on the ceramic hob, TV, etc. Cobwebs everywhere, and lots of dead insects. You can't feel comfortable in this supposed holiday apartment and you stay there with a creepy feeling in your stomach. If you want to travel back in time to the 60s/70s, this is the right place for you. And that at the price of 120 euros per night. Incredible!

I had my mom visiting for 5 days and put her up in the Hotel Sonne for that time because we don't have a guest room in our small apartment. Ms. Koch is a wonderful, old-school hostess. Unobtrusive yet attentive, she was always there to help and advise. The whole hotel exudes warmth and hospitality, so that my mother felt very comfortable. The charm of the hotel lies in its authentic furnishings. Many objects tell a story from days gone by. Despite the age, everything appears to be in good condition and extremely clean and well maintained. My mother definitely wants to come back and we will also recommend other guests to visit Ms. Koch.

We have always hosted guests in the sun. With the reservation everything always works reliably. The rooms are clean and have a rustic style in keeping with the house. The landlady is very nice and accommodating.

The homepage can only be viewed as historical. The restaurant has been closed for years and will only be open for company or family celebrations. A room reservation was also not possible. I asked the owners to accurately reflect the situation on the homepage. It remains to be seen whether he will comply with this request.

A little paradise in the sun – the right place for enjoyment and joy of life!Gourmet paradise to feel good: Lovingly looked after by the landlady and her helpers, you can feast and be happy here in a stylish, authentic ambience: delicious menus, e.g. B. Flädle soup, in spring menus with fresh asparagus and home-made hollandaise sauce, Krazete and ham, accompanied by good wine, dessert and cake.With hotel. Not always open, please reserve!

2 nights with a rich breakfast. The room had everything you need including TV, bathroom and shower. The furniture is old, but there are loving details everywhere - just the way I like it. Everything is clean and the room was put back in perfect order after the first night. I am treated very friendly and courteously and I am already looking forward to my next stay there.
