We were here in the last week of October 2024 and right after our vacation the place was closed for the season.Accordingly, the occupancy rate was very low and it was very quiet on the pitch. You are immediately at the sea and also very quickly in De Koog for shopping, so the location is great. The sanitary facilities were clean and were cleaned regularly, so the omnipresent sand (it's a campsite in the dunes) didn't bother us.We particularly liked the free industrial dishwasher, which took a lot of work off of us and was finished quickly. The size of the space we had was completely sufficient and, as requested, it was right next to the playground, which was absolutely fine. The indoor playground was also clean, spacious and loved by the children. Also worth mentioning is the service that the caravan is placed on the site by a tractor and then taken down again at the end. This means you don't have to worry about getting stuck in the sand and you have an experienced helping hand for maneuvering. The only real negative points were the many dog poop on the side of the path, so the children had to run slalom.Unfortunately, there are also a lot of walkers here who leave dog poop behind. There are several trash cans with free waste bags on the edgeAnd the fact that many animals live in the dunes is nice. Unfortunately, our awning also had several visits from a few rats who gnawed on several things. All in all we had a very nice holiday.

A very nice and quiet campsite in the middle of a protected landscape area. The site is car-free. The caravan is pulled onto the site for arrival and departure. The pitches offer a lot of privacy and have an electricity connection. The fresh water points are well distributed around the site, as are the clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities. We had a very nice and pleasant week in Kogerstrand.A note: Be sure to use the wooden pegs offered; in stormy weather, conventional pegs will not hold in the dune sand.

Great camping in Top Lange between the beach and the village. Best service at reception. The location in the dunes is fantastic and certainly unique. It's hard to describe this place in words, it's better to just experience it live. Thank you for the great time

A very nice campsite, great location, well done, the service across the street was great, everyone was very friendly... However, we had booked a plot for our tent, which according to the information should have 18-20 square meters, it was more than too small We couldn't put it down properly for our tent because the size wasn't suitable due to the sloping position and the grass, unevenness etc. This should be calculated differently there, if it hadn't been such a hassle to dismantle the tent and put it up I would have rebooked on site. So for those who want to go with a tent, take larger pitches and find out more about the pitches...otherwise it's a great place

Wonderful campsite with plots directly in the dunes. Unfortunately not for campers or RVs. Only caravans or tents are allowed here.

No warm water in the showers. The toilet was blocked. Unfortunately there is only one toilet per wet cell. Parking space = parking space, but there was still space in the dunes (unfortunately, car-free zone). Noise from the restaurant's truck deliveries and the restaurant's own tractor, which drives the caravans around and transports other goods regardless of the time.
