What a wonderful guesthouse.What a wonderful hostess.We received a very warm welcome.There is a shared bathroom.Everything went perfectly during our stayThe breakfast was prepared with a lot of love.We can only recommend the guesthouse

Like visiting friends!I was traveling with a friend, we wanted to go to the Ruhr Congress and arrived by train - the bed and breakfast is absolutely perfect for that. By taxi, on foot, Uber - everything is easy.In an absolutely quiet area there is a pretty house with super cozy rooms that are beautifully furnished.No hotel vibes, more like visiting dear friends. The welcome from Thore was very warm, a lot of information was given and breakfast the next day - there it is again: like with friends. Great table, super comfortable armchairs, great garden... huh. You need more reasons to go to Bochum. THANKS! <3 We felt super comfortable.

Went to a B&B for a weekend in Bochum. The rooms are very nicely and comfortably furnished and Monika is a very personable, friendly host. She is happy to give tips for excursions and restaurants. When you have breakfast with her and the other guests, you feel like you are at home with friends. We felt very comfortable.

Excellent!Here you can only feel comfortable.A very modern, cozy, lovingly and well-kept house. And the rooms, the bathroom and the sanitary facilities are accordingly.The house is very quiet but still centrally located.Bochum's city center, walks, visits to cultural events and locations can be easily and quickly reached on foot.Monika also treats her guests in a very warm and service-oriented manner.Gladly again!Andrew

As a couple we had two wonderful days in Moni's B&B. We are very grateful for our time there. The breakfast was the “icing on the cake” for the stay.The breakfast was fresh and tasty, the selection was absolutely sufficient. What was much more important was personal interaction.Moni is an incredibly open-hearted, kind and absolutely accommodating host. In addition to her open ear, she was genuinely interested in why we as guests were in Bochum.A great exchange and great conversations developed. Just a great time.Appropriately, breakfast took place in the hostess' living room, which is not only clean but furnished with great attention to detail. Absolute feel-good atmosphere. Cannot be described in any other way. All in all very special and absolutely not what I expected before.The B&B was actually only intended as a place to stay overnight so I could celebrate the wedding of a family member of mine.First of all: The B&B is not a hotel, but anyone who has had a few vacations with different types of accommodation knows that. As an example: The toilet is not in the room. Terrible? Nope. We knew that beforehand. But there too, no problem. Everything perfect, hygienic, nothing to complain about.Thanks for the stay. Gladly again.Complete recommendation.

A very lovingly designed house with great attention to detail. Ms. Grosche is a very friendly, open and cheerful host. She puts a lot of heart and soul into her B&B and it shows on every level. Nothing is missing, the rooms are well equipped, as is the bathroom. There you will find everything you need if you forget something. The breakfast is very varied and leaves nothing to be desired. An all-round successful arrangement in a very family-friendly atmosphere. It's a shame that we don't go to Bochum that often.

The lady of the house is friendly and accommodating. She also has an open ear and welcomes her guests with open arms. The ambience of the house and the rooms is bright and furnished with great attention to detail.The breakfast was rich; everything fresh. We went on a three-day bike trip in the Ruhr area on May 1st and stayed overnight at Monika's for the first time. The reception was super friendly and she offered us the “you” straight away. We were able to park the bikes in the garage. We had a large room and in the morning she conjured up a breakfast that was second to none. A dream !!! She was very warm and always wanted to fulfill every wish. When the weather is nice, breakfast is served in the garden. The guesthouse is located about 500m from the railway line. You can unreservedly recommend the Bed & Breakfast Pension Monika Grosche!!! Absolutely GREAT.Stay as you are Monika and see you again in good health. Warm greetings from Claudia and Hans-Dieter.

Everything was well maintained, clean, comfortable and tasteful.Very nice, open and friendly hostess.Great breakfast, which we spent at the table first with other guests, then with the hostess and her son. A nice, relaxed start to the day. Everything is very personal.Two well-equipped bathrooms to share with other guests. (I actually prefer to have my own, but it couldn't have been better ;-)).Optimal location for the Strätlingshof.

Quiet area, but with easy access to the main sites of Bochum, a very pleasant garden terrace and you will enjoy the best breakfasts you can find in a hotel.The manager Monica is a charm and will make your stay at the establishment easier.
