We spent a very relaxing and relaxing holiday with the Pauli family. If you are looking for a child-friendly, beautiful place with lots of peace, a playground, forest and meadows, great animals and lovely people, Paulis is the right place for you. We have already reserved for next year and are already looking forward to it.

A very beautifully rural and idyllic holiday farm. We stayed with the Pauli family for a week and really enjoyed our time. It's really perfect for unwinding. The large grill is always freely available, the spring water is delicious, and the stars are overwhelming at night. Even if you have put small children to bed, you can still move around the farm because everything is very family-friendly.There are ponies available that you can use to get out. Not just a lap around the paddock, no, you can ride the ponies through the forest.The farm dog, the cats, the pigs, the rabbits... the child's heart cannot ask for more.Despite the high temperatures during the day, the rooms on the first floor weren't really warmed up, so you could sleep well through the night.With best regards to the Bavarian ForestT

We grandparents were at the Paulihof with our son and 6-year-old granddaughter.Maria and the family are very nice, accommodating and fulfill all wishes if possible.The rooms are nice.The breakfast is excellent and rich. Leftovers can be taken with you for hikes and excursions.We went on many great trips and were supported with suggestions. Every day was varied.The play area for children is considerably outdated.The cats are cute and could be petted. We always fed the piglets. Our granddaughter had a lot of fun with this. Riding is only possible to a limited extent.Overall the atmosphere was very nice. It is quiet. You can hike, but the trails are not particularly well marked. Some hikes were adventurous.We enjoyed being there and were warmly welcomed.

We were able to spend two weeks at the beautiful Paulihof. The wonderful time flew by while we were looked after by Maria and Sigi. We learned a lot about bees, including the adults. The nature around the farm is simply beautiful. The playground was a dream for our daughter and she was able to play while we were able to sit comfortably on a bench in the shade. Whenever possible, every wish was fulfilled immediately. My daughter and I were able to go on beautiful rides through the Bavarian forest. It could not be better. Being cared for so lovingly creates the perfect vacation. Unfortunately, the time passed much too quickly. thank you thank you thank you

As a family with 2 small children, we had a great stay on the idyllic farm. Ideal for parents to enjoy nature and watch the children run around. Beautiful, child-friendly excursion destinations in the surrounding area.The highlight was the generous, lovingly prepared breakfast every day made from home-made and regional products.

- very nice short vacation- great price-performance ratio- incredibly nice farmers people- super child-friendly and child-friendly- both kids received a voucher for pony riding for their birthday, super sweet and attentive, it was really fun for both of them :-)- The kids were even allowed to name a calf - “STELLA”- we were completely satisfied and definitely want to come back- The farm dog Molly is also remembered very fondly and will be missed ;-)Thank you for everything :-)

I have been coming to this farm with my children for years and have never been disappointed. You have to be aware that you are a guest on an active farm. You should behave accordingly. You are a guest and have not bought the farm. There are rules everywhere. Consideration and respect for the farm owners and other guests should go without saying. When these simple rules are followed, I have never had a problem with the owners. My 4 children are always thrilled when we spend our holidays there. The rooms are perfectly adequate and always clean. The breakfast is sensational. The Pauli couple is always available to provide advice and assistance. Even at inopportune times. Therefore, I cannot understand certain recessions. I'm already looking forward to my next vacation.

Very lovingly run farm. No matter what request you expressed, everything was taken care of immediately. The children really got their money's worth, whether on the Kettcar or the tractor. And the surrounding area offers a wide range of opportunities for exciting activities. A week wasn't enough... we have to go again, that's for sure.

Once again we spent two very nice weeks at the Paulihof. We enjoyed sitting under the linden trees with old and new acquaintances and watching the children play in the playground above, going on excursions and sitting comfortably together in the evenings at the barbecue hut with a safe "campfire" in the fire bowl.Everyone who wanted to be part of our “farm family” had contact with each other, felt right at home and enjoyed their time in the community.Saying goodbye to everyone (the Pauli family and guests) was difficult again.

Since I come from the countryside myself, many friends and relatives work in agriculture and I also have an affinity for agricultural topics simply because of my career, we treated ourselves to a few days on this farm in August - and called off the vacation after a few nights . The size of the holiday apartment is limited for a family of 4 with two small children (4 and 2), the bathroom is quite small and overall everything seems a little out of date. It was wonderful to live with this rustic furnishings (one could also speak of authenticity), but there were also hygienic deficits in almost all rooms. So either the preparations for Halloween were already underway when we were there or it actually wasn't clean...If you wish the farmer's wife a "good morning" from the open window, she just hisses a "quiet!" I probably don't need to explain in more detail that you don't necessarily feel welcome there. And there were many such incidents: please do not enter these areas, do not use those toys. Follow the rules (and there are many, especially incomprehensible and/or written rules) and be sure to be quiet. As a reminder: we are not talking about visiting the Wagner Festival but rather about a farm. Sure, our children get up earlier than other guests (traveling solo or as a couple). But they were never out in the bobby car before 7:00 a.m. - apparently too early for the gray-haired playground acrobats who had descended into the deep valley of sobriety.Speaking of the playground: This is frequented by all guests. Here, children who love to play meet regular guests who enjoy drinking and smoking. Love of life and frustration of life between swings and slides (which, by the way, has seen better days). I would describe myself as a liberal guy who occasionally treats himself to a beer after work and a cigarette after dark. However, as I am aware of my role model function, I do not consume these things on a playground and certainly not in front of children.Farm holidays. That sounds like adventure, participation, closeness to nature, bread by the campfire and a lot of freedom. None of these things can be found at this farm. Instead, anger about rules, gossip and know-it-all attitude from an argumentative farming couple. Who needs it...Then a little word from me from the Bible and a nod to the “We’ll do anything for a free beer” reviewers: “LORD, deliver me from the lying mouths, from the false tongues.” (Psalm 120)

I was really looking forward to this farm holiday!!Unfortunately he was completely different...We didn't feel comfortable or in good hands.The whole time we were almost afraid of doing something wrong again!And pay money for it too?No, vacation is something different...That was the first vacation we canceled!!And we're glad we didn't stay there an hour longer.Other guests are drinking, loud right outside our bedroom window until just before midnight….but we are spoken to stupidly when we have the window to the cowshed open at 7:15 and a child says hello to the cats downstairs?!? These children's voices were certainly quieter than the noises in the cowshed!It's a shame, I've been to many farms, milked by hand, drove a tractor and groomed cows...But the atmosphere on a farm has never been as stressful as it is here...

Another holiday on the farm:We have been traveling to “our” farm with our son for at least 20 years. There he was able to learn that milk doesn't come from Tetrapak and cocoa doesn't just come from brown cows. He discovered his love of nature in the surrounding forest, built tree houses and collected berries and mushrooms. And we were able to make friends with other guests that continue to this day.It's always nice to be able to unwind and listen to the sounds of nature on the farm, which is located on the edge of the forest, far away from major roads. The starry sky at night is fantastic, away from local and street lights!Every year I look forward to exploring what new modernization measures have been added. New bathrooms, renovated rooms, natural wooden furniture made from wood from our own forest, new play equipment for the guests' children, barbecue hut and numerous places to stay in the guest area of the farm.Of course, there are (like everywhere) rules that some city dwellers don't immediately understand, but they are posted in writing or in an information folder in the holiday apartment. The housekeepers are always ready to explain the background if the usual daily routine on a working farm allows it. A farm does pose one or two “dangers” for holidaymakers who are unfamiliar with the profession and some of the unpopular rules are due to the housekeepers’ duty of care. – Or the normal manners among other people: Anyone who thinks they will make nice holiday acquaintances when their children are driving up and down in the bobby car under the bedrooms of other guests at 5:30 a.m. is living in a different world.And anyone who expects the presidential suite and the service of a 5-star hotel in a holiday apartment (with two bedrooms and a kitchen-living room) is in the wrong place and should pack their bags again as quickly as possible! A holiday apartment is a self-catering home.On the other hand, guests in the guest rooms (overnight stay with breakfast) can look forward to a rich breakfast with everything that regional producers offer: eggs from happy chickens, organic milk from the in-house cows, honey from our own bees, homemade jams from the region's fruits and of course also sausage and meat products from butcher shops that slaughter their own meat.It is up to each reader to judge for themselves what a review is worth from a writer who makes fun of “… regulars who like to drink and consume tobacco…” but also allows himself a “homemade” one in between. – “…Let the one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her. …” (John 8:7)

When we arrived we received a warm welcome from Maria Pauli, well-kept accommodation, a sumptuous breakfast with fresh rolls (mixed) every day, numerous homemade jams and honey. There were also various types of fresh sausage, ham and cheese. Tasty coffee as much as you wanted, fresh from the fully automatic coffee machine.Ms. Pauli, as the best tourist guide in her region, suggested plenty of excursion options for breakfast every day. Glasdorf, Silberberg and the Rißloch waterfalls etc.Unfortunately, she didn't tell us that there were "hiking parking spaces" there. After we finished our hike, we found a parking space but not our car??? Who hiked now???We hitchhiked our way to Paulihof and complained to the landlady that our parking space had "wandered" into unknown worlds. She was well aware of the “mystery” and immediately started her car and brought us straight to our “wandered” car. So much for the topic: “What is a hiking parking lot”? Tip: Always question hiking trail signs carefully.Dealing with Molly, the farm dog, Ignaz, the tomcat, and the other sweet and cuddly kittens was the main activity for us on the farm. We were also allowed to be there every evening as the dressed-up horses trained with music for the Landshut wedding. And by the way, we experienced beautiful sunsets when we returned from dinner in the “Hinhart” beer garden.To say goodbye, we met with the other guests and enjoyed a glass of beer/wine at the fire bowl, which the farm grandson supplied us with plenty of wood, lit and told stories about farm life.Conclusion: We really enjoyed our vacation and recovered well. We would love to come back, but really with the grandchild. We can only highly recommend the Paulihof. Kind regards from Garmisch-P.

Where clear air heals the lungs, where Molly rushes to greet,where Siegfried milks his cows, Maria keeps the farm together,where peace echoes from the forest, relaxation collide with everyday life,where the new day just wakes you up, the breakfast table is always lavishly laid, where questions have an answer and horses trot across paddocks, where is this place? Don't ask stupid questions, open your eyes and look around.We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Both from the dog Molly and from the hosts. The location right next to the forest as well as the peace and beauty of the surroundings made us forget everyday life. The breakfast table, which was always richly and lovingly set with the farm's own milk, fresh sausage as well as jams and honey from happy bees, left nothing to be desired. The chat at breakfast and the answering of any questions by Ms. Pauli and her husband also contributed to our well-being. A small problem that arose was resolved immediately and to our satisfaction. It was also very nice to be informed about events or highlights in the area and to be provided with tips and food for hikes. We really enjoyed our little “escape” and can therefore recommend Ferienhof Pauli with a clear conscience.
