A wonderful place.Great concept.The place brings peace to the mind, the beauty and the lovingly selected details awaken the senses. The breakfast is of very good quality and the friendly staff look after their guests excellently.It would be wonderful if the pianos and harpsichord could be played. Unfortunately, they were out of tune and some of the keys were hanging. (...this is just a small note)We really enjoyed it and we will definitely come back again.

As a wedding planner, I was allowed to accompany a bride and groom to Gut Sonnenhausen. It was a wonderful wedding weekend with excellent food, an attentive and helpful team that looked after everyone lovingly. Everything was prepared as discussed, from setup to execution and the weekend flew by. So professional and at the same time friendly and warm-hearted - you couldn't ask for better! We felt very comfortable at Gut Sonnenhausen and hope to be able to support a bride and groom there again soon! Special greetings to the house cat Findus, who strictly monitored all processes ;)

We were guests at a wedding and it was the most amazing wedding location anyone could have imagined! Surrounded by pure nature, a beautiful, idyllic estate with exceptional service and ambience! A few hours there felt like a vacation. Absolute recommendation 🧡

I have been able to provide musical accompaniment as a wedding singer at several weddings in the idyllic Gut Sonnenhausen near Glonn. Outdoor weddings are a dream when the weather is nice in the magical orchard, but this "English country estate in the middle of Bavaria" also offers wonderful options for rainy weather! For example, in the old riding hall there is plenty of space for a lavish wedding party with a band and a large dance floor. The food is excellent. Overnight accommodation is also provided. A great wedding location near Munich! I'm happy every time I get to make music here.

I found out about the knife sharpening course that is offered as one of the attractions, as well as collecting herbs, for example. The beautifully located estate with a large parking lot is easy to reach by car, motorcycle or bicycle. A multi-building complex with a beautiful landscape. There is something for everyone here. Good cooking starts with a sharp knife. On this evening, Lothar Madl and Claudio de Rosa will show you how to sharpen your knives professionally, how to keep them sharp and how to care for them well. We end the course together with a good Schweinsbräu beer or a fine wine and a hearty snack. We really enjoyed the evening because it's not just about sharpening a knife but also keeping it sharp, which came across well in the course and I therefore learned a lot. Ending what you have learned together with such a beautifully prepared snack speaks for itself. For me it's a great meeting place where I'll definitely take a few more courses. We had the great pleasure of being able to celebrate our wedding with family and friends at Gut Sonnenhausen on March 23rd, 2024 and had a really great celebration. The entire team at Gut Sonnenhausen was simply great! The food was excellent, the service was extremely attentive and the location itself ensured an unforgettable and wonderfully beautiful wedding celebration for both our guests and us.We received very professional and committed support from the event team in Sonnenhausen throughout the entire preparation phase of the celebration. No wish remained unfulfilled and our wishes were always responded to flexibly and quickly and even short-term changes, such as room bookings, were implemented without any problems.The food, from the appetizers at the champagne reception, to the cake buffet and the 4-course dinner menu to the midnight snack, was really delicious. The feedback from our guests was also overwhelmingly positive. Everyone was thrilled, especially by the “show cooking” in the cooking stable, where they were able to look over the shoulders of the excellent kitchen team at work.The entire Sonnenhausen service team did a truly fantastic job. Thanks to the always positive, super friendly and open manner, we and the guests always felt welcome at the property and well looked after. No glass remained empty for long and the team contributed a lot to the great atmosphere that evening and the next morning at the delicious breakfast.Overall, we can only warmly recommend Gut Sonnenhausen. The great and individually furnished rooms, in which all of our guests and we felt really comfortable, and the location in the middle of beautiful nature make Gut Sonnenhausen's unique ambience a fantastic wedding location.When we first visited Gut Sonnenhausen, we were convinced that we had found the right location for our wedding celebration.

We were lucky enough to be guests at a beautiful wedding at Gut Sonnenhausen and really enjoyed the celebrations there. Great atmosphere, beautiful rooms and something very special. Particularly worthy of mention is the outstanding service - was it Claudia at the champagne reception who really impressed me with her soothing and discreet attention? The food is regional and very tasty - definitely don't skip the broth at breakfast - it works wonders!
