The hotel is very clean, there is a rich buffet and there is also free parking in the garage if it is not full. I was very satisfied until I left. On the day of departure, the owner was of the opinion that I had to pay extra for a bottle of water. A bottle of water (medium) was provided free of charge in the room. Since I don't like carbonated drinks and only rarely drink them, I asked the owner if there was also still water. She was very nice and looked and wanted to give me another bottle of medium. However, I politely declined this because I still had medium water in the room. On the day of departure the owner wanted to charge me for the second bottle and insisted on the 2€. I told her several times that I hadn't accepted it but she didn't let go of her opinion until she had to intervene and agree with her that it's ok and that she shouldn't insist anymore, because I was already annoyed by your behavior and shortly beforehand I said I would pay the two euros so that I simply didn't have to discuss it anymore. Now the lady was too proud and refused the two euros. There was a back and forth. At some point I had enough and then I told her "... oh yes, now I remember again!!!" but also just to give the lady peace. When paying, she made a comment about how she wouldn't enrich herself. I thought for a long time how many stars I should give the Hotel Traube Mayen, but in the end she reduced the whole thing from 5 stars to 1 star through her behavior. Also, I paid €230 for four nights and two euros shouldn't matter.
