Ferienhaus Yasmin

The holiday home "Yasmin" is actually a "half" house, which is divided into two identical units: "Yasmin" and "Orchidee".Therefore, there is also a continuous, narrow terrace, which is only divided by a (quite low and openable) privacy screen and a beach chair. You have a fairly clear view (but not of the lake), as there is still undeveloped land in front of the house. By the way, dogs are allowed in the “Orchidee” part of the house, but not in the “Yasmin”.The holiday home is cozy and attractively furnished and, above all, was very clean. In general, the holiday home was equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We also had everything we needed for household/hygiene items (toilet paper, facial tissues, kitchen roll, dishwasher tabs, washing powder, etc.) - great!WiFi was free, ok for surfing and also stable (approx. 4-6 MBit)The washing machine and a small freezer are located in the separate utility room, where there are also some household items, parasol, seat cushions, grill, ironing board, clothes horse, etc.There is space for the car in the carport directly in front of the entrance door, and a second car in front of it in the entrance area.We were completely satisfied, felt very comfortable, enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxed. The house was modern, clean and cozy, the area was very quiet. The services should also be highlighted: beds made upon arrival, towels, all important household and hygiene items are available, and bread delivery to your front door upon request.Various shops (LIDL, Edeka, ...) can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.Of course you should definitely visit Maria Laach, about 15 minutes by car.The nearest town is Mayen, also about 15 minutes by car.

Great house with everything that goes with it.

We came across this place by chance and were looking for a holiday apartment here. The price was quite high for what was offered at the end.Positive:*Sauna directly in the house*Fully automatic coffee machine*Modernly furnished* Well located even if without a direct view of the reservoirNegatives*Bathroom didn't have a window so the ventilation ran constantly and after every shower you stood in the fog for ages*Sauna took forever to reach the desired 90 degrees. However, according to the thermostat in the sauna, they were never reached.*Kitchen not very well equipped. No salt, no pepper, no coffee beans and the dishes are no longer the latest. Pan handles loose, not enough plates, etc*Not equipped for children (no children's chair, etc.)*Unfortunately, darkening blinds are not really helpful and therefore useless*Entrance to the carport is difficult to drive through and unfortunately you end up crashing when you drive outAll in all, we didn't find the communication before the trip helpful. When asked, only the information was given, all important data will come shortly before the start of the trip. And then an email came with a few details but there was no personal contact. So you could have been given a hint that there was a high chair in the storage room and also a broom etc.Therefore ok for a short trip, not suitable for a longer period.

The “Yasmin” house (equipment and condition) is great, but the way it deals with customers is questionable. After departure we were accused of having damaged an umbrella - the deposit was withheld and we simply stopped responding to emails and calls. Only the reference to legal advice brought the brief indication that the damage was there and captured in the picture... (The picture itself will only be shown in court.). Our veto and point out that we neither used the umbrella nor even noticed it do not count. If assumptions and presuppositions are used, I cannot give a good assessment. Too bad.
