I had the pleasure of DJing at a wedding at the Kultur Restaurant zur Post in Welling and I can only report positive things! The location itself is excellently equipped and offers a wonderful atmosphere that is perfect for weddings.The food was an absolute highlight of the evening. Every dish was outstanding in terms of taste, but the dessert was really something special! A true feast for the senses.The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. As a service provider you really feel in good hands here and working with the team was simply great.All in all, I can only recommend the Hotel zur Post in Wellung. A dream location with first-class service and delicious food – perfect for any wedding!

A good country inn with hotel and guesthouse, clean and good, nice rooms. Guest house, 3 stars, corresponds to expectations, good breakfast, no buffet but you can always reorder, but then only for people who are excessively hungry,For “normal people” what is on offer is enough.Unfortunately the house is not barrier-free, which is a bit unfortunate for people with disabilities and could be improved.It can still happen.

Disappointing.Were invited on the occasion of a diamond wedding. The ambience is beautiful, but the service doesn't match it. There were 2 waitresses for 3 people who tried hard but were obviously not trained in service.Glasses weren't refilled, you had to stop the waitresses if you wanted something. But the person sitting next to me wasn't asked if he wanted something too.A special order for dessert (according to the guest card ice cream sundae "as desired") - please only vanilla ice cream was accepted with an eye roll, when another child asked for 2x vanilla and 1x chocolate it was mentioned that there is actually only the combination "chocolate, strawberry, vanilla". The request was only accepted when the guest card was referred to.Basically, the food was very salty, making one dish even inedible. However, portions were plentiful, so the person was still full from neighboring plates.The only thing that impressed me was the beautiful ambience, but I wouldn't come back again.

I can't say anything about the hotel as I only visited the restaurant. The food was good, the prices were normal, the service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. There is also a large, very nice beer garden.

A very nice restaurant with very good service and excellent cuisine. When the weather is nice, a very nice beer garden is also open. There are also rooms for guests and a parking lot. We were there for lunch and will definitely come back.

What brought us to Welling? Of course the car. And a slightly older voucher for an event that no longer exists. Of course, we clarified this in advance and the contact via email and telephone was uncomplicated and pleasant: the voucher could be used for a 4-course surprise dinner for two. So we enjoyed roast beef with roasted cashews, olives and herb pesto with a hint of lemon as an entrée, a fine Hokkaido cream soup decorated with pumpkin seeds and pumpkin oil, tender pork medallions on steamed leeks with a mushroom cream sauce and crispy fried napkin dumplings and finally a dessert variation with, among other things, a sophisticated chocolate brownie, chocolate ice cream, white mousse, Baumkuchen, cookies, chocolate-covered and candied fruit.Made from the best ingredients, we were skilfully offered classics and classics with a special twist that tickled the palate and pampered the tongue. Our stomachs were also happy because we were full too. The service was courteous and friendly without being intrusive or superficial. We also noticed positively that people asked about allergies and intolerances beforehand, even though the menu had already been prepared.The ambience impresses with modern elegance, which is grounded in many places by wooden accents, just like the restaurant with its fine cuisine in this small village in the Eifel with the farm opposite.You should make a reservation, even in lean January the tables were well filled. A great address for family celebrations or a special evening for two. It's just a shame we live so far away.

We were there with 8 people. It was just a disaster! Starting with empty bottles not being cleared away, the food, fillet for over 39 euros was inedible because a huge tendon was served. Then it was played for a fool, supposedly it was “normal”! No, it's not normal, you cut off the 1.5 cm where the chain runs. Until then, the components that went with the dish on the menu were simply missing without comment. . I have never not tipped in my entire life. Yesterday was the premiere for you! You will never see us again! I took pictures of it! I can't even give it one star, which unfortunately isn't possible!

Despite Christmas and many guests, the food was at the table extremely quickly (approx. 15 minutes)The food was very good and visually appealing (see pictures)Upscale kitchen, everything very nicely designed and clean. Thank you again 😀
