After Haus Neumann canceled us at very short notice, we called 10 accommodations and were about to give up. Mr. Rampe said that some hosts use such unfair methods when more "lucrative" guests announce themselves. On the other hand, he honestly says that just one night's stay costs more. That's fair - after all, Bad Emstal is the final destination of the Habichtswaldsteig and hikers are dependent on one night!The welcome and family warmth were amazing! Everything was sparkling clean, the landlady opened her wine shop late and even wanted to sell us the bottle cheaper and even gave my friend a self-sewn mask because she had forgotten it - and offered to sew it around if it didn't fit.We had the feeling that no effort was spared to offer guests everything and more that is possible to make them feel comfortable.There are two ways to deal with the Corona crisis as a host: quick, ruthless business (like Haus Neumann) or service with love, heart and respect. You can guess three times who will be successful in the long term ;-)
