The Pension Stein is located in the pedestrian zone of Tauberbischofsheim, directly at Kurmainz Castle. The house is very romantic. When arriving, you should be careful not to drive through the pedestrian zone. The house is an old house but is well maintained. I live in a 100-year-old house, so I understand creaking stairs and the like. Our room was very clean and nice and spacious. I really enjoyed having a bathroom that was bigger than my own. The beds, for me the most important aspect of sleeping out, were perfect for my sleep. The bathroom and room had linoleum floors. This is a material that I really appreciate. It is hygienic, easy to clean and hard to break. The house is run by Mrs. Pham Nguyen. A very friendly and attentive hostess. She advised us about places to go and provided us with water for the day. We had breakfast in the house. Breakfast is cheap at €7. We got coffee, rolls, jam, honey, cheese, sausage, fruit and muesli with milk. Upon request we received an egg. We enjoyed breakfast and got us through the day well until lunch. Conclusion: we had a lovely holiday in TBB in the Pension Stein.

We felt very comfortable in the guesthouse. The room was clean and tidy; likewise the bathroom. Owner has a restaurant next door. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and attentive! Only €79 double room with breakfast.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Sleeping without a level of quality would like it to be unclean is exactly the right place for you. Rich breakfast buffet 🙈😳Buns could be made of rubber. 1 type of sausage and a slice of cheese.

We cycled the TauberRadweg and were very satisfied with this accommodation in Tauberbischofsheim 😊. The reception is in Asian hands, very friendly people and newly taken over.The rooms are spacious, stylishly furnished, large, modern, well-kept bathroom. Very clean and attractive. The breakfast was good, rolls were baked rolls, but absolutely fine. Fresh fruit was nicely prepared and served.The meal in the evening in the in-house restaurant with Italian, German and Vietnamese cuisine was also very tasty and the atmosphere in the restaurant was appealing. The counter worker (not the owner) still has to learn a bit... The new opening was last week...Gladly again...

Nice owner and lovely village. Room is typically 90’s style and does not have airconditioning or a ventilator, unfortunately. it is quite hot at the moment. It is convenient however. What disturbed us, is that whilst we were having breakfast, somebody visited the owner and started smoking on the table next to us (we were sitting outside, but we were guests having breakfast during breakfast time...).

Centrally located.Triple room for 99€.Very clean, spacious and large bathroom with shower.Spacious garage for the bikes.Owner very uncomplicated and friendly.Breakfast wasn't rich and "cheap", but that's not to be expected given the price.Overall, highly recommended...
