Large rooms. Unfortunately not maintained, unclean. Some of the bed linen was broken with holes or zippers.The food from the kitchen didn't taste good. Breakfast was canceled one day because the staff overslept. But very friendly staff.

Rooms are renovated, large and spacious, good beds, some with balconies, the restaurant is good with delicious food. nice staff.The big negative point is the accessibility of the hotel, or agreements in advance via email and phone call to arrive early with breakfast, then arrived in the morning, everything closed, no one available on the phone, only voice mail. Other guests had already waited for breakfast but unfortunately it didn't happen. The call back came sometime in the afternoon.A few days later they didn't know anything about our arrival. 3 double rooms, supposedly no rooms available, at some point the owner had rooms for us.The previously parked cars were also overcharged (had requested parking spaces). Price OK, but unfortunately the number of days calculated was not correct either. A requested invoice would supposedly have been possible, but would supposedly have taken longer.We cannot recommend the inn

Unfortunately very disappointed... We've eaten there many times before. It was very good there. Today we were disappointed. Starter avocado still unripe. Main course frozen vegetables and hardly any meat with the Cordon Bleu. Petties were used for the burger. Quality of food generally poor.

We experienced the really good restaurant, generous portions, classic German cuisine but the breaded cutlets were very good plus the service was more than kind and helpful.

The food is excellent, the service is friendly and quick. The prices are fair despite the proximity to Switzerland. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and cozy. Parking spaces are available at the house.

I am extremely dissatisfied. The accommodation costs were debited twice. After several contacts with the boss, who always put me off with some kind of excuse, I still haven't received my money back for months. So be careful with this accommodation.

An expectant impression from the outside. It will then not be fulfilled within. It's OK for 1 night. With trained staff it could soon be 4th star.

Beautiful garden. The new (?) team tries hard but also struggles. The food is "OK" but today's offer has no chance compared to the previous sun. The staff definitely hasn't trained in the industry. The pizzas still look the best, but anyone expecting the old sun with a very well-kept kitchen will be disappointed. A wine carafe full of lots of fingerprints doesn't help either.

Stayed at the Landgasthof Sonne for one night on business.Was received very friendly, even though there was stress in the restaurant and kitchen!Rooms, great!Food prepared at short notice was very tasty!And the price was right for both!!!Highly recommended

I can only warn against staying in this hotel.We ordered a double room with a balcony personally from the landlord over the phone. I had to call 3 times to get written confirmation of our booking. When we arrived, no one knew about our booking, even though I had proof of the email. Everything that came to us was just horror. We thought we were in a crazy movie. Beds that were almost falling apart. The toilet lid was loosely hanging on the bowl, it didn't look inviting inside either, there were no storage options in the large bathroom.A built-in safe in the wardrobe, which was of no use at all because it was broken. And then the breakfast, it was sublime. We have never experienced anything like this. And now the kicker... The landlord came after the first night and immediately wanted to collect the hotel costs for the 5 days that we had booked. He basically portrayed us as drunkards. We immediately paid for the dinner we had there the day before, but he asked for it again the next morning. We were so pleased that we immediately packed our bags and left the house immediately

Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended. After booking via Booking and again by phone, we arrived after 500 km and our rooms were simply given to someone else. That doesn't work at all! So just read the rest of the reviews and then think about it!!!Never again!!!

We had been here before, hotel was better last time. Bed and bedroom were good. Bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell. Restaurant was a little less, there was no dessert available after dinner. …
