Dear Hohaus family,Thank you very much for the lovely week with you. We felt extremely comfortable. For us, the small rose garden was like a small magical forest that invited us to dream and linger. Very quiet location, here you can really forget the stress of everyday life. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, pretty grounds and very nice owners.We'd love to come back!

A nice little guesthouse. Clean and orderly. We found the change of towels for a small fee a bit strange. Fee....we saved ourselves...it's possible for a week....Owner nice and friendly, breakfast great...perhaps a slightly larger selection of grain rolls could be reconsidered.We would spend our vacation with the Hohaus family again

The Hohaus family put in a lot of effort and were always ready for a little chat. The room was relatively small, but perfectly adequate. The bathroom was also quite small and unfortunately it was impossible to wash your hair over the sink. You either have to shower straight away in the morning or bend down or kneel to wash your hair in the shower.The windows have no fly screens and because of the nearby canal, mosquitoes come into the room very quickly if you turn on the light and the windows are open. That's why it's better to leave the light off, which isn't a problem in summer.The breakfast buffet is sufficient and was always topped up as soon as something was nearing the end. It would have been nice if there had been at least a few grain rolls, but that's complaining at a high level.The breakfast room also serves as a lounge. There is a small kitchenette there so you can warm up a little something in the microwave in the evening. A refrigerator is also available there.The garden with lots of roses is great for relaxing and if you're lucky, you can even use the beach chair.Carolinensiel and Neuharlingersiel can each be reached in 5 minutes by car.All in all, I can definitely recommend the guesthouse.

Well-equipped apartment, very friendly owners. A bicycle is recommended for dike hikes and beach life, as the guesthouse is in the hinterland.

This guesthouse is really wonderful... The Hohaus family put a lot of effort into it...we really enjoyed our time... The guesthouse is very well maintained and clean, good breakfast and the garden...an absolute dream to relax in. ..we will definitely be back next year and would like to thank the Hohaus family

Hello Hohaus family!First of all, thank you very much for allowing us to spend our short vacation with you. We both really liked it, from the friendliness to the cleanliness and hygiene to the delicious breakfast (there were freshly picked strawberries every morning). You could also choose coffee, tea or cocoa or fresh juice as you wish. So if you didn't feel full or feel good in the morning, I feel sorry for you.I also have to appreciate the lovingly maintained garden, etc. Highlight rose garden. I have rarely seen such a beautiful garden that has been cared for with so much love. Not to forget the boat dock behind the rose garden. We had a nice rowing boat tour on Saturday last week. Simply fantastic.@HelmutF. I don't know what you experienced there, but if well over 90% of all holidaymakers are highly satisfied, I think you are the black sheep just to make the rating NEGATIVE. But no matter, you can do without them here in East Frisia in the future or you can join the other sheep on the dune, but then as I said as a black sheep (Please do NOT take it as an insult, these are just facts that have to be expressed or written down .Back to you, the Hohaus family:My best friend and I are considering spending our vacation with you again next year.
