I was there with my daughter and took a look at the corner. Looks nice and especially there it wasn't that crowded. Relax by the water - you can do that 😉

Really good offer for us as a great archery, raft building etc.but the staff/educators are not very friendly. Let's go with a broken canoe and not see their mistake?!The accommodation is almost embarrassing! Everything full of mold and vermin… heating black instead of white because it was full of mold!The employee in the kiosk... complains to us why we ring the bell when no one is there and says that the kiosks unfortunately closed early? We wanted to politely ask him if he would sell us anything else, then we were told that he would no longer discuss things and that we were being very rude.It's a shame the place is actually really nice, but is dragged down by these "little things".

Great location for a time out with the family - in a trailer, in a tent or in a holiday home. Great leisure options: swimming, canoeing, SUP, archery, and much more. We have been enjoying visiting with our family members for 4 years.

So responding to well-founded criticism like this and having the review deleted is not possible. My entire class saw mold in the trailer. There was also a mouse in the kitchen. It's a shame that such a beautiful place has to be destroyed due to a lack of hygiene regulations

The house is totally dirty and disgusting. There were insects in the food and children had to throw up. The mattresses are very thin and the bed linen is full of stains. The staff is rude and understanding. An employee was yelling in the middle of the night even though it was a very serious situation. Children are not taken seriously and are treated like small children. In my opinion, not recommended…

The accommodation is totally run down and dirty. The duvets and pillows provided to us were stained. The staff is also totally unfriendly and disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend it.

We were there with the class for a week. The staff should be trained in politeness again, as some of them spoke badly to teachers and students. You are forced to eat a vegetarian diet and there are also bugs in the food. Considering that the muesli bars had already expired 5 months from the best before date. Students are asked to clean the window because some water from a water fight got on the window. I hope that the windows are protected when it rains so that they don't get wet. Even a child with minor health problems was forced to take part. The child did not yet feel fit enough. The concept may be good, but the implementation is not.

The view was okay, but the people are totally unfriendly. The program leaders complained about the children. The rooms were dirty and the beds were uncomfortable and there were spiders everywhere.

Very nice place right on the lake. Were there in October with 2 mobile homes and a caravan. Unfortunately, the access to the site is very narrow and the hedge rattles against the vehicle. Toilet and shower included in the price. Place operator very nice. No disposal. But this is known according to the website

Located directly on the Ruhrsee, well equipped and suitable for all age groups. Hiking, swimming, experiencing nature and absolutely quiet from 10 p.m.

Everything is good, but it is self-service.Nobody tells you which equipment is perfect for you. Beginners should find other information.You have to carry your boat (canoe, kayak, etc.) into the water yourself.
