The room is very cozy and feels that way. The bed is super comfortable, the rain shower makes showering unique. Good internet reception is just as important these days. The welcome gifts are delicious.

Great hotel in a quiet location! We chose this hotel because we were in transit for 2 nights and can say that a longer stay is definitely worth it. The hotel has been tastefully decorated, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The design idea has been implemented in every respect in this hotel. A hotel to feel good. We would come back at any time.

- Beautifully designed hotel- Located in a hidden corner of an industrial zone- Spacious room and beautiful little balcony with river view- No staff at reception (ghost hotel)- Check in and out only online- No room card- Breakfast on Sundays only from 9 a.m. (much too late if you are traveling with small children), no buffet, breakfast only to order at the hotel café, very generous but a lot of waste, plus we have had to eat on a mini designer table with stools like at the campsite because the suitable tables were all reserved (for whom???)- A room dedicated to breakfast for hotel guests is missing- No air conditioning, with 30 degrees in summer, this is unacceptable for a hotel of such price and standingSo rather mixed verdict, we won't go back

Unfortunately not recommended.We had to leave early due to illness. Although two employees were on-site contacts, they were not competent or able to provide information.Even at breakfast we were overwhelmed. For example, for 3 people there were 2 place settings, 2 orange juice (1 glass broken, that can happen, but was not replaced after complaints) and 1 cereal.At least the room was big and clean.

Wow!!! Splendid hotel located opposite a river, top hotel on all levels. Designed by a family of architects, adorable by the way!, this hotel is the quintessence of beauty! Lunch with a very refined, delicious and copious presentation in a friendly setting. and served with Maria's wonderful smile and good humor! The rooms are decorated with great taste, every small detail is perfect. Welcoming, caring and always available staff. Small downside: no air conditioning in the room but they found a solution immediately by providing us with a good fan!.Moreover, even if you are not a hotel guest, you can come and have a drink, a coffee or even a delicious brunch to discover the joy of this hotel! I highly recommend and with my eyes closed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Little extra + that you speak, French, German, English.....everything is possible!

Absolutely lovely peaceful and sophisticated place in a Black Forest.5* service, minimalistic teeny tiny but super vibrant pearl in the region.Food, rooms, details, view, service- stunning!Reception team and Maria🫶🏻 did magic for me. As for a person, as for a guest. I had a trouble with my car, but I felt so much of support, help, decision makingFrom a team and Maria personally, that was absolutely happy to stay for more and more)))And a restaurant team, loooooove them! A real insider tip for architecture lovers, design fans and purists! Discovered rather by chance while passing through and arriving after the reception was open, the special beauty and exceptionality of this refuge only becomes apparent to the guest the next morning, when they step over the cozy breakfast café onto the small sun terrace, where the rushing Eltz stands on the bank The night before, neither acoustically nor visually, as you entered the hotel via the rear entrance at the parking lot, had not noticed it. Just like the picturesque castle ruins, whose view of the orchard in the early summer green only becomes visible with the morning sun's rays.The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the huge bathroom has a rainwater shower head, the fridge is filled with free drinks, there is WiFi, Netflix and Amazon Prime. All inclusive. Breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, excellent coffee and the best granola I have ever enjoyed is served at the table by friendly staff. What more do you want?

Nice hotel, great rooms and delicious breakfast.. spent one night in the hotel and visited Freiburg from there. The city of Freiburg can be reached in 20 minutes by train. Therefore our recommendation for Freiburg visitors..
