We had reserved rooms here for our bike tour + were more than irritated that on the morning of our arrival day we received a confirmation email - without any further explanation - from “Haus Corfu” - a telephone inquiry revealed that the two houses belong together + that we were in “ “Haus Corfu” also had to check in + breakfast was also made available to us here (Urton end) > the houses are not far from each other on foot, but we would have liked to have known that in advance!Our room was small and outdated (e.g. the bed linen was different colors and torn) - the breakfast was simple - the hotelier was nice and helpful - his staff were not - the price/performance ratio didn't match!!

We were very surprised to find a hotel of this quality in Anholt. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, nice big TV. The breakfast was buffet style, absolutely adequate, we could even request special (grain/rye) rolls, the eggs were freshly prepared. All of this was rounded off by a very nice operator. The price quoted was extremely fair. Conclusion: again at any time :D.

A nice small hotel, modernly furnished with a very good price-performance ratio. All rooms are bright with excellent beds, TV etc. furnished.We were warmly welcomed by the owner and served a tasty and rich breakfast every day.The hotel is ideal for cyclists, as there is an extensive network of cycle paths in beautiful nature in the surrounding area. The town of Rees on the Lower Rhine can be easily reached by bike in about 1 hour (approx. 20 km). A bike tour through the Dutch border area with the towns of Netterden and S`Heerenberg towards Emmerich is also highly recommended. Or in the direction of Bocholt - along the Bocholter Aa, is an experience for every nature lover.There is a locked bicycle garage behind the hotel for bicycles. We would visit the hotel again.A public parking space is available free of charge in approx. 200m. The hotel is a great address for cyclists and hikers.

A really nice hotel. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast. And above all a very friendly hostess. I'm in Anholt as often as I have time. The Old Drugstore is and remains my first address. This review is an ABSOLUTELY honest opinion. NOT FAKE!!!!!

The two of us were traveling with the Tad and stayed here for one night in this great hotel. Very nice and familiar hotel, super nice hostess, bicycle garage, nice courtyard with seating, self-service drinks from the fridge, great breakfast, very good value for money

Wonderful little hotel, lovingly run with a family atmosphere. Spacious rooms, modern and clean. Very central location with several restaurants within walking distance. Rewe market and the beautiful Anholt Castle are also very close.Delicious breakfast in a cozy atmosphere with everything you need. Simply recommended, you feel completely comfortable and very welcome.

We had a very pleasant 1 night stay here last weekend. The house is located in the most beautiful place in town. Very pleasant, calm, calm atmosphere in this house, which is lovingly run. We were able to store our bikes in the lockable shed in the backyard. No "fancy" facilities but very good and a little more/better than just a functional Garni hotel. Everything was very neat and clean - just "comme-il-faut". Likewise the breakfast with a strict hostess, very good (grain) rolls, fresh filter coffee and an overall good selection (including juice, fruit, yoghurt, honey, jams, several types of cheese and sausage). We had room number 4. The room is on the 1st floor and faces the pretty square (external restaurant). In midsummer, when there are good visitors, it can perhaps be louder from there - but we were able to sleep well with the window open. If you look closely, you could only say that the walls of the room could use a fresh coat of paint. In fact, 4.5 out of 5 possible rating stars (= 90 - 95% satisfaction) would be the correct rating from our point of view, but the system does not allow this - that's why we have given 5 according to the trend :-). We would definitely like to be here again the next time we stay in Anholt (certainly). The area and the hotel are HIGHLY recommended for cyclists!!!

Great little cozy hotel, very friendly and attentive staff, rooms very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast is varied and rounded off with fresh fruit. Always my pleasure. Due to the good location to various cycle paths and the hotel's own bicycle garage, it is particularly recommended for cycle tourists.
