Very nice service, chef introduces his food himself when serving, solyanka and roast wild boar very tasty, rustic atmosphere, a bit cool despite the fireplace, great balsamic vinegars, could drink the stuff neat. I took 3 bottles with me, hazelnut, cranberry and.......Great vinegar that I haven't had before. I would have been happy with venison or roast venison, but maybe there isn't the time.See you next time.

The menu is clear and reflects the basis of the restaurant: game (there is also something for vegetarians). The selection of fruit balsamics is great (mango, cranberry, rose + quince...). During breaks you can browse through the picturesque wine racks and find beautiful things. And yes, I really enjoyed the food :)

Went to the candlelight dinner on Friday, wanted to be surprised - and we were thrilled. A very friendly reception with a glass of champagne, then a food recommendation from the boss and then, with a very good wine recommendation, an excellent dinner with starters, salad, main course and dessert. Everything was very nicely presented , freshly prepared and served. The main course was venison - sensational and the dessert was Kaiserschmarrn with raisins, which were so richly pickled that it was a real treat for the palate. We can only recommend the Alte Weinschmiede. Tip: there are also guest rooms.

Incredible....We looked for a place to sleep in the area and maybe a little something to eat. We had booked an overnight stay in the wine bar in advance. It was wonderful. The rooms are clean, cozy and very inviting. The reception and service are very attentive and accommodating.And the food... Well....indescribable. We arrived late, so not every menu item was available (a clear sign of freshness). The alternative recommended by the chef was exactly to our taste. The numerous types of wine invited people to linger for a longer period of time and later there was a spontaneous musical contribution from the owner. We were very satisfied. Thank you.

What an idyllic place with excellently prepared food! We were greeted warmly, had the salad 3 minutes after ordering and the main course 10 minutes later. Just to counteract the comment above that everything takes so long. We'd love to come back!

Food was okay (but we only had 2 starters and a salad with chicken). We didn't realize that salads in upscale restaurants were still made with iceberg lettuce...We waited a total of over 2 hours for the food. Without explanation and without the fact that the place was obviously full. 🤷😒In our presence, other guests were also warned to remain quiet in the inner courtyard, as guest rooms were rented there. It was 5 p.m. (!).All in all, it was well thought out, but implemented unprofessionally.We won't be coming back.We bought 2 vinegars in the restaurant's own wine shop. These are actually very tasty and recommended.

The location is really nice and good for a relaxing drink. Definitely also for good food when it's empty. But spontaneously wanting to eat with 20 people (registration the day before) doesn't work here at all. It was announced that the meal would be processed gradually and could take two hours. When it rained we were ordered in to eat because the staff didn't want to get wet. OK, but then it took another 1.5 hours. After three hours we wanted to cancel the meal... somehow we shouldn't. Had to get the food and pay for it too. OK... schnitzel breading was completely over salted, the asparagus was still half raw, the Hollendaise was too sour, the cola supposedly had sugar, but definitely also a sugar substitute. Everything doesn't fit, everyone is completely clueless. Can't think organizationally and can't calculate deposits. It's a shame, we'll never come back. Unfortunately, no longer on the bike transit route. Unfortunately, it's not open to criticism at all. Then you are asked if everything was OK. If “no” was given, no further questions were asked. The poor service and the lack of critical ability make the stay very unpleasant.
