I celebrated my 60th birthday in the Seebeckt holiday paradise. The name says it all - it's a paradise. Two great days - with fun and games and a theme party - "Series and Film Heroes". What a great area, what great houses - super clean, well maintained and furnished with great attention to detail. The “Herrbergsleute” - Ms. Lambrecht - are simply great. She responded to all of our wishes - including special requests - which are often not easy to fulfill - and made the impossible possible. A big thank you to everyone who managed to put a smile on the faces of 50 people over the weekend and give me an unforgettable 60th birthday. Highly recommended - we will COME BACK. Thank you for everything - once again on this journey.

Beware RIP-OFF!The dishes were dirty, the windows were dirty, the lampshades were full of dead flies, and the shower stall nozzles in one room were completely broken. Nozzles in the other rooms full of lime, hardly any water. Dishwasher was cleaned upon arrival because nozzles were dirty. There were cobwebs in many corners. In addition, the kitchen was far too small. Rooms overall pretty worn out. Heartlessly furnished and no charm.TV was broken but was replaced. Water access was promised...there was a continuous fence in front of the jetty blocking the path. Therefore booked EXTRA! Unfortunately no one told us beforehand.Complaints were not taken seriously upon departure and criticism was not received. Subsequently, a deposit of 100 euros was withheld due to incomprehensible reasons (dishes were allegedly dirty)

We were there from June 4th to June 6th. in the holiday paradise of Seebeck. The outdoor area is very nice, but you couldn't use the lake access, the swing was broken and rusted through. I don't think this so-called "playground" was checked. But the landlord promptly charged us for damaging it.What was also very negative was that it was very dirty, it apparently wasn't cleaned even though it was closed for a very long time (due to Corona). Some appliances didn't work at all (coffee machine, water ran out of the bottom of the dishwasher, etc.), and in one bathroom you could only take a cold shower. We are still waiting for the deposit, and a report has now been filed, but even now there is no response from the landlord. Despite all the trouble, we made the best of it.The 1 star is for the outdoor area.

When we arrived we were looking forward to our first cup of coffee. You lost your joy when you found dirty cups in the cupboard. You had the feeling that coffee was being drunk from it, you left the cup outside and put it back in the cupboard at some point. Order and Cleanliness? Out of place. We continue with the windows. When were they last cleaned? We thought we had constant rain when we looked through the glass. The lamps were covered with dead flies. Or was that part of the decoration? It seems to be common practice here that you don't get the deposit back in full. Why were no defects acknowledged upon handover? We were told that the owners were still in the house the day before us. I would advise you to make an appointment with Fielmann. I have never seen such germy windows and lamps and dishes in my life. The only positive thing was the outdoor area.I will upload pictures of the lamps as a photo.

Everything was dirty, the TV was broken, the bed linen smelled old, so I would advise against it

Since I've already read a bad review here with the subject of deposits and I was only counting on the moment until an email came with the same scam....and the email came....but from the beginning.....us The house was handed over in such a dirty condition that words fail. The dishes were dirty, the windows were dirty, the children's socks were black after the first half hour of stay, the lampshades were full of dead flies, the shower stall nozzles in one room were completely broken. In addition, the kitchen was far too small for 15 people (small refrigerator, small pots).Water access was promised...there was a continuous fence in front of the jetty blocking the path. Unfortunately no one told us beforehand. The only good thing was the large outdoor area which was fine. After a week we handed over the house again and everything was fine (we just accepted the fact that there aren't many options for staying overnight with 14 people)But the real deal came after 2 weeks via email in which we were informed that the deposit would be withheld because the dishwasher was totally dirty with eggshells etc. and the cleaning effort was immense...plus all the dishes supposedly had to be washed again and partly. washed by hand...including a salad spinner that none of us used!!! This is the height of audacity!
