We were there for lunch and the first impression of the dining room was so-so - rustic and a bit old: even a few cobwebs here and there. The outdoor terrace is very nice, there is even a small corner for children to play.The service was very friendly, but unfortunately there were problems communicating with the staff - not so good with allergens. The staff here still needs some training.That's a bit of a shame, because the food was ultimately exceptionally good. Fresh ingredients, generous portions and extremely tasty. Really beautifully presented. The slightly higher prices are definitely worth the food.

Great quiet location by the lake. The boss is a very good cook and the staff is extremely friendly. There was only a bit of a problem with room service (towels only changed upon request) and on weekends, especially on Saturdays, it can be (very) loud on the outside terrace, until late into the night. Next time I would book a room on the other side, i.e. towards the parking lot.

I haven't been there for a few years. The view from the terrace is really beautiful.We leave very satisfied with our meal. It was beautifully prepared and tasted good. We felt there was a bit too much chicken in the pasta and perhaps a bit too much pepper in both meals. But that's a matter of taste.We were there on a Tuesday and didn't have a reservation. It was full. We had to wait a bit, but then got a seat on the terrace.The children are also taken care of. There is a trampoline.The prices are rather high, but you'll know that when you stop by there. The pike perch cost €26 and the pasta €20.

Great service, we were able to dock the bungalow boat without any problems, which is unfortunately almost impossible in Neuruppin on the other side. The view of the lake from the terrace is fantastically beautiful. The plates are also very nicely prepared and taste great.

Two stars because you have a really nice view. Drinks take a long time and food is not really recommended. The answer to the question about the quality of the food was only stroppy.In the end it's way too expensive...

On August 3rd, 2024 we celebrated our wedding in the enchanting and dreamlike location of the Waldfrieden Hotel and Restaurant.First of all, we would like to highlight the location: The location is right on Lake Ruppiner, and the view from the terrace and the rooms is breathtaking.The service and cuisine exceeded our expectations.The staff was always attentive and friendly, always had a humorous comment ready and regularly asked whether everything was to our satisfaction or whether we had any special requests.The decoration of the tables and the restaurant was beautiful and added significantly to the festive atmosphere.The kitchen did an excellent job: the variety of dishes, the perfect seasoning, the cooking and frying - everything was great.The breakfast was also first class and rounded off our stay.The rooms were very clean and comfortably furnished, which made our stay even more pleasant.If it were possible, we would give the Hotel and Restaurant Waldfrieden more than five stars.Many thanks again to the entire team.You made a great contribution to our special day.Kind regards, Anja and Ronny 🍾🥂🎉

To rate the restaurant:We had dinner here on vacation on a warm summer evening. The ambience was very good and the food was first class. Yes, it was a longer wait than usual. But it doesn't bother you, when you go out to eat you don't have to wait like you do on the train, you just enjoy the beautiful evening.The chanterelle cream soup was freshly prepared and cooked, the main course (Zander from Lake Ruppiner) was just as fresh and beautifully presented. I can't understand the reviews about frozen meals etc., because everything tasted great and after eating you had the feeling that the cooking was actually very thorough and fresh while you were waiting.The only point of criticism was the (probably untrained) young staff. Although their demeanor is very friendly, even if the waiters get along well with each other, they should refrain from doing karate or writing chat messages in front of the guests.

The location is of course great. But that was it for a wish to go out for a nice meal.Some of the service spoke German and was friendly throughout, the atmosphere was still reminiscent of the glory years, but then we got to the food.The food probably came from a bag or the freezer, everything was tasteless and of no quality, nothing reminded us of cooking in the kitchen, orders were sometimes forgotten or brought incorrectly, even though we had communicated with gestures and pointing to the menu.Conclusion: It was our first and last visit.

We celebrated my brother's 80th birthday there. The menu was first class. There seems to be a great chef working there. The dishes were extremely tasty. The service was very friendly and, above all, quick. We were very satisfied and can only recommend this restaurant. We will repeat our visit there soon. And then there are photos too.

We have been there many times and have never been disappointed. You can sit comfortably inside, but also outside with a beautiful view of Lake Ruppiner. A staircase leads down to a beautiful swimming area.There is parking and a small playground for children.The service is very good.

A fantastic location right on the lake. We had a balcony room with a lake view. Absolutely great. The kitchen is very good. But the service tops everything. Very, very friendly, quick and accommodating. It's rare today. We would love to come back. Thanks.
