In May / June / July of this year we accommodated an employee who worked on assembly in the Selders quarter.He was very happy with the location, the room cleaning and facilities.The reservations were quick and easy. The communication was very satisfactory.

We have from April 29th. on April 30th stayed overnight in the Selders district. Yes, we slept well, the beds were good, the surroundings are nice and quiet. We had stayed there once a few years ago and had fond memories of the place.Unfortunately, this time there were several reasons for complaint or comments. Before we arrived, we were instructed to take the key out of key box 3. This went without any problems: if there are five key boxes hanging next to each other, the middle one will probably be number 3, otherwise there was no name for the key boxes. When we got to the room we noticed that the bathroom stank. Can happen after a long absence, but also means that the condition of the room was not checked on the day we arrived. After pouring water into the shower tray, the smell improved. There were only a few rolls of toilet paper left and there was no spare roll in the bathroom. We found two more rolls with leftovers in the hallway, so the problem no longer existed. The floor in the bathroom in front of the shower was obviously not mopped and was dirty. The towel rail in front of the sink was dusty and dirty. The toilet brush was full of small pieces of toilet paper. The hairdryer was sticky and greasy, the temperature switch wouldn't move at all. In the bathroom only one of the ceiling lights worked, the night lamp on the right bed didn't work at all. The left roof window could only be opened with force, and the handle had probably broken off from previous guests.The furnishings as such are beautiful and functional, but the maintenance left something to be desired. Hopefully it will change quickly again. It would be a shame!Reply to the landlady's comment:The "conversation" on the day of departure was limited to a phone call asking whether we had slept well. To that I answered truthfully, “Yes.” I was then asked to leave the key on the counter of the unmanned reception. The landlady wanted to send the invoice by email so she wouldn't have to come in person. I would have liked to discuss our complaint in a personal conversation and inspect the room, but I had the impression that peace and quiet was the priority on Sunday morning.I think it wouldn't be very difficult to label the five key boxes with the numbers 1 to 5. By the way, a few years ago the key boxes were labeled.Even I had discovered the two switches on the bedside lamp; the lamp did not light in all four possible positions of the two switches.

The hotel is beautifully and quietly located on the outskirts of Schiefbahn, among the orchards.We spent the night in the studio: a spacious bedroom and living room complete with kitchen, refrigerator, kettle, etc.Very good beds with nice duvets, pillows and bed linen. Comfortable shower with powerful jet of hot water.The owner is very friendly, flexible and hospitable. The key box with code was very useful in our case. No breakfast available but there are good options for that in the area. (Or the bakery in the village and the kitchen with refrigerator offer a solution)

Great quiet location, nice clean rooms. WiFi is very good. Mattress is not too soft and not too hard. There is a full selection of tea, instant coffee and cream in the room. Only the TV in my room was very small, so you should bring a tablet or something similar

Very nicely located. However, the rooms are under the roof and it was incredibly warm in the room, no air conditioning and difficult to ventilate because all the skylights are on one side. There was also a very bad smell of foul gases from outside, but only upstairs, not in front of the building?

Above all, the people are very, very nice. The establishment is very clean, nice and tastefully decorated. The breakfast & coffee are very tasty. There is also very good WiFi! Overall: great!
