We've eaten here several times today but we were very dissatisfied. We ordered two fried fish with potato salad. The potato salad was at least three days old and tasted fermented due to the onion. You could tell that it was older by its appearance noticed.A complaint to the waitress only led to excuses that she had received from the kitchen.Paid full price and no insight.Unfortunately only 1 star for this reason.

Ideal hotel in the forest - perfect for hiking in the national parkWe have already spent a few days of vacation there several times. The hotel is located right on the edge of the forest. You can therefore start directly into the national park (e.g. climb to Falkenstein). The rooms in the new building are modernly equipped with a small kitchenette. The bathroom is small but nice. The rooms have a terrace or balcony. The old building impresses with its coziness. The family rooms with a mezzanine floor are particularly excellent.The breakfast is delicious, varied and rich.But the restaurant's food is also recommended. The standard menu and changing dishes are all delicious and tasty.The beer garden, especially in summer, is a nice place to linger.All in all, it's a pleasure to vacation there. We'd love to come back.

Nice quiet location. Clean rooms. Not too big, but for short to midterm stays there is nothing to complain. Balcony is fairly spacious. And you will likely mostly be out enjoy that nature anyway. Kitchen and bathroom have all the basic needs.

Very nice, always happy. The key 🔑 handover was well organized, my partner had received a message where we could find it and we put it back there.We also used the sauna.The room was clean, exactly as described on the booking.

Unfortunately or fortunately there is not much advertising. This evening we spontaneously went to the beer garden and it was really nice. Relaxation at its best, no stress, nice and friendly service, very tasty food at very reasonable prices. For us as regular guests at the Zollhaus, it is now once again a fixed point of contact with a nice evening run for the dogs. 5 stars +

Our room was very nice and cozy (family room). Unfortunately, there is no eye for detail (light bulb without lampshade on the ceiling, no pictures on the wall)... The breakfast was good, we would have liked to eat in the hotel in the evening, but the menu was very small. Dessert was always out and the restaurant always closed at 8 p.m., even though we would have liked to sit and have a drink. So it was unfortunately stupid for us... There was no WiFi, no cell phone reception anyway. Sauna area could also be made nicer, not aimed at relaxation and wellness. So we probably wouldn't come again...

Food was still okay, but they were thrown out at 6:30 p.m. There's nothing going on, so we close.But we had called beforehand and there would be warm food until 8 p.m

We have been coming to the Zwieseler Waldhaus for several years. This inn offers very, very good cuisine, friendly service and the most beautiful beer garden ever. This is the right place to start our long day hikes. The rooms are friendly, bright and clean. We feel really comfortable here!100% recommendation.

I can't rate the rooms because I only ate very well in the restaurant. That's why I don't deduct a star from the rooms. That would be unfair.
